Some would say that Hell In A Cell 2018 ending in a No-Contest was the beginning of a slow decline.

They've been in decline for about a decade.

They're still declining although there's been some good moments. New Day, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Reigns going heel finally, just a good amount of great things that came from it. Sami doing better work, Lesnar finally being face, we're seen some stuff.
But overall it's still on the decline due to them being stuck in the same old same old.
Personally, I don't watch any wrestling when it airs, I peep clips on Twitter/reddit. I've just lost my full on love of wrestling as a whole I had and part of it is WWE but the other part is that I've got a career, life and I don't need to do it anymore.
Best of luck to them but yeah it's on the decline. They gotta change.

Laziness. Doing just enough to get by, produce content and let the money pour in.

A sanitised & turgid product presented by a soulless, morally- & creatively-bankrupt company. I have never been less interested in watching them, even compared to '95 or '96.

Some would say that Hell In A Cell 2018 ending in a No-Contest was the beginning of a slow decline. I'd go a bit before that with Kofi getting squashed by Brock to set up Broco vs Cain. At that moment it was clear the target audience was a couple of billionaires. That and the HiaC DQ together proved it's pointless investing in anything, it's all meaningless. I'd say that was the period it fell off a cliff after years of slow decline. You had a particularly bad crown jewel too (BoD vs DX) Then fast forward to the pandemic and the company proved to be morally as well as creatively bankrupt. Ugh it's so depressing to think what's become of something that was a near constant in my life for 30ish years.

For me, it was Brock vs Kofi. From that moment on, WWE became less a passion and more of a thing just to stay informed on. My passion for it was lost.

Creatively, I think it might be the laziest the main roster's been since I started watching again during the Summer of Punk, especially on Smackdown. Like I get WHY Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, and the Usos keep getting pushed, but them all being champs at the same time in 2021/22 makes things REALLY stale, especially when they're all feuding with people we've seen them wrestle a million times over the last 5 years. Raw isn't much better with how they've booked Becky and the rest of the women's division and the completely unnecessary tweaks they've made to people like Damian Priest.

They've been in decline for about a decade. Try since when they switched from the USA Network to the future Paramount Netwotk in 2000.

Dreadful. This was the year I quit watching the weekly shows (NXT is the only one I’m watching consistently and even that I’m not that invested in…and so I can watch the Fightful review with context). The Smackdown episode with the Becky/Charlotte title swap was the last straw for me.
So much talent and so many of them used badly with no reason to care about them when you know WWE is going to shit on them or release them. The slow realisation there is no end game for Roman Reigns title reign was also hard to take considering how hot the title reign was the first few months and how gripping the Roman v Jey Uso story was. Raw is just impossible to watch for 3 hours I think I watched maybe one Raw this year and I have the facility to watch it I just don’t care. The Women’s division has been booked so badly this year it’s quite incredible really. Belair winning the Rumble and the title at Mania is the only bright spot I can think of.
Vince’s grip on things amazingly seems to be getting stronger but the light at the end of the tunnel could be the sell. I sure hope it is.

I think three years ago is about the time I quit watching Raw or Smackdown and just stuck to the PPV's. These days, I rarely watch an entire PPV. Their product is just too corny, I can't do it. I genuinely don't think there is a fix for that company outside of selling it and letting a fresh crop of people run it. By 'fresh crop', I mean no Kevin Dunn, Triple H, McMahon family members, etc. Outside of that happening, I genuinely think that company is doomed once the TV deals run out.

Since WWE signed Nick Khan, the product has been absolutely terrible at most times.

Outside of Survivor Series, I have literally not watched the show since about the end of September. It was just painfully dull, listless, and utterly boring. And that hurts to say, honestly, because I've been a diehard for 30+ years. But, as a viewer, I just feel disconnected from it. Nothing I see week-to-week matters in the long run, so it becomes harder and harder to invest my time in and connect with what I'm seeing. It's been a problem for a long time, but it's never been this pronounced.
