And now that I've watched last week's Impact, I'm pretty sure Hyan is Vivian Rivera.

Learned local lady wrestler Amber Rodreguiz is part of the new WOW. Wondered why she hadn't had a match locally in close to 8 months. Then thru a mutual friend learned she has been out in Vegas shooting WOW.
Not sure what her name will be on WOW,and they might change her look a bit. But she is a fairly pretty lady that is part black part hispanic. And last time I saw her she had her hair braided.

I remember seeing Glitch The Gamer and Leia Makoa on Elevation and Dark as Vertvixen and Reka Tehaka respectively.

Two thirds of the returning Heavy Metal Sisters are ex-CWFH wrestler Sarah Wolfe (Razor) and Harlow O'Hara (Fury). Google-Fu says Mezmeriah works elsewhere under the name Salem, but I still don't know much about her other than that. They were a fun unit on the previous seasons of the show. Especially pleased to see Wolfe back, she disappeared from wrestling after WOW ended the last time.
Jessie Jones being solo means Amber O'Neal isn't coming back. Which is fine, because she was bad.
KETARUSHKETARUSHKETARUSH is back. Joy. Bringing her plucky girl friend back with her, too.
And Princess Aussie is Simone Sherie/CeCe Chanel, another one from the pre-reboot CWFH women's division. That division was godawful, but only due to some especially bad writing, not because of the talent involved.

Vertvixen!!! She looks even prettier in blue! πππ Princess Aussie as a redhead is sweet, sexy money. I've seen Cece Chanel on youtube since the last WOW was on ,but I didn't recognize her as Princess Aussie. Glad to see her back. Now that I think about it, since they have different girls playing the old roles of Disciplinarian and Ice Cold now, they could get a different girl to play the role of Tessa Blanchard.

So glad she is getting a chance to be seen outside the deep south area. I found a lineup for this weekend's episode, she'll be debuting against the also-debuting Gigi Gianni. Also happening... The returning Bully Busters (Stephy Slays and KETA RUSH, whose name is in capitals because of the incredibly annoying way McLane says her name) take on the returning Siren the Voodoo Doll and her new associate Chainsaw. Lana Starr's new protege Penelope Pink makes her debut against Vivian Rivera.

So, I found the show on my local TV.
The wrestling so far is okay. Nothing great to write home about, but could be worse.

I still get a chuckle how WOW was brought back to give Tessa Blanchard a platform and she burned that bridge before it even started

In case any one is wondering, they do put the matches from their show on the official youtube channel a few days later.
That said I got to see BK Rhythm and Coach Campanelli in the same match. Be still my heart!ππ

After how much of a dreadful bore she was in previous seasons, watching Jessie Jones being humiliated is a bit cathartic.

Syndicated wrestling tends to get surprisingly good viewership numbers. Like I think ROH regularly got around. half a million for their weekly shows. Hell, Star Trek TOS reruns got better ratings in syndication than a number of first run shows on the Big Three. Granted that was back in the 70s. Even though the time slots are disjointed, it's still technically on free broadcast TV. So it definitely has its advantages in potential audience over the more niche cable networks. The demo numbers aren't good on their own. But I guess they're OK for a fairly niche product.

Well their goes my chance of watching WoW. I have Verizon cable. And WoW airs on The CW here, but I guess its broadcast by Nexstar, a media group. And they are having a fee dispute with Verizon right now so any channels owned by them have "gone dark".
