This game should shatter some ratings numbers. First time Caitlin vs. Sabrina. Should be a good one! It was awful lmfao, Clark still looks completely lost out there Feel bad because a lot of people showed up to the WNBA to watch Clark and she's stinking up the joint, hopefully she rights the ship and people's intrigue in the league doesn't evaporate. It's less stinking up against the joint and more she's drawn the 2nd and 3rd best teams/defenses in the league to start out. She'll be fine and once the Fever get their rotations set, they'll start to get better

Clark is a great player, but there's a reason why the Fever were able to pick her first. They're not a good team and one player isn't going to turn a team from jobbers to championship contenders overnight. Especially since the Sun and Liberty are already two of the best teams in the WNBA with excellent defense.

Yeah, the Liberty made the Finals last year, they have the reigning MVP and they've got Sabrina. Clark didn't join a team nearly that good. Teams will double up on her, because they don't fear the rest of the Fever.

I'm not saying Clarke won't improve, I am absolutely sure she will, I'm just wondering if the people who tuned into see her, a lot of them casuals who are just getting into this league, are gonna stick around and watch the games if the Fever keep losing by 40... we'll see, it's only two games obviously
I think the big game's gonna be when she faces Angel Reese again, they already flexed that to ESPN

Remember a few years ago in the NCAA Tourney bubble, when the women couldn't even get their own weight room?
Women's basketball has come a long way since then.

To no shock the Fever are completely overmatched.

Listen I know that being really bad is how The Fever got Caitlin Clark in the first place but I need therapy after the half of basketball I just watched

Caitlin Clark is known for throwing passes at high speed but her teammates can’t hold up their end of the bargain.

Okay, seriously ABC, how could you mic a crowd as bad as you have in this Sparks vs Aces game?

If this keeps up, the Liberty might be a better draw at the Barclays Center than the Nets.

I'm not buying that Cameron Brink is 6 foot 4, she looks a lot freaking taller than that.
And commentary saying while showing footage of her arriving to the game that she could easily be a model, no lies detected there.

But this 2024 rookie class is special. Clark, Reese, Brink, Edwards and more. I hope they all get their shine this season. This rookie class will run the WNBA for the next generation of stars.

The Aces are the undisputed dynasty of the WNBA and honestly, they are no where being done.
3 peat is inevitable and honestly they could win 5 or 6 more too, unless the Liberty finally get to them.

All the expansion teams we're gonna be getting within the next four years are only gonna muddy these waters too and make things more interesting for teams to build up.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is so special about Caitlyn Clark in comparison to other great lady ballers? She's getting far more attention than any one that came before her. Is it just the right person at the right time? (more progessive, inclusive society etc.) Does she really have skills that are better than Taurasi, Leslie, Parker, Griner? Because if we're going by resume, Taurasi blows her out and she didn't get this much coverage and talk.
