Received. Man, this new method is really working out so far. I want to see how well it does through Lord of the Ring before adding it to the main page and making it official policy though.

[shadow=red,left,300]NITERAW[/shadow] TH: Welcome FAWA Galaxy to Niteraw! I'm "Gorilla" Tim Hoss and this man here is Jesse King!JK: The Lord of the Ring tournament continues this week and we’ll be one match closer to the semi-finals tournament.TH: You got that right, King. Last week Connor Mackenzie defeated the Mad Pirate Mulligan after a mysterious man in black…TH: Assaulted both men, but he attacked Connor first. JK: They’re in cahoots, Gorilla. I can smell it. TH: Whoever this man in black is, he seems to have an agenda and Connor Mackenzie is a part of it. JK: Did you stop to consider that maybe it’s the Mad Pirate Mulligan who’s a part of the plan? TH: In any case, we’ll find out, but tonight, Aaron Enigma, the Number One Contender, takes on Thunderdome opponent Antihero in a Lord of the Ring tournament match of their own. He defeated Jonathan Michaels last week; can he repeat success this week? JK: That’s not all for Connor though, or for ants… for Connor, as the winner of last week’s Lord of the Ring match, faces off against the World’s Strongest Ant, the Television Champion, Bull Ant! TH: It’s the classic battle of technique versus power and you’ll get it all here on Niteraw, right after these important messages. *An unknown song plays over the loud speakers in Parts Unknown arena. The lights brighten. Almost too bright.* TH: Wait, what’s that, Jesse? JK: I don’t know. Nothing on the program says there’s supposed to be someone coming out. TH: Wait, it’s Vincent Van Agony – ViVA! – Former Freakin’ Awesome Champion! *Vincent Van Agony walks out; No suit; No chip on his shoulder. He's wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. He has a duffelbag, which he brings to the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope, paces inside of the four corners, pauses, drops the duffelbag in the middle of the ring and motions for a mic.* JK: It’s been a while since he picked up the stick. You know he must have something to say tonight. VIVA: Remember me?
Perhaps the most prolific man to ever grace this ring. Maybe the most polarizing.
Not the most accomplished. But close. Probably a future hall of famer. And I've still got so much left in the tank. So why, why don't I want to keep going? Why am I so tired of the charade. It's a question I've been asking myself for a long time. I'm not going to lie to you guys, I went away. I left. And a lot of that was against my will. But while I was gone, I realized something. I didn't miss it. I didn't miss you, and I didn't miss the assholes backstage.
I was tired. Tired of having to resort to the cheapest of tactics to get the respect I thought I already deserved. Tired of scoring win after win, for what? To spin my wheels. Whether anyone here admits it or not, and this isn't a shoot at all, there's an established hierarchy here. There's a glass ceiling, and I was sick and tired of being a paper champion. Sure, I had the Freakin' Awesome Title. Hell, I was the first. But what did it really mean?
It meant I could take a backseat to the carousel of returning stars. It meant I could watch people leapfrog me to fight for the Heavyweight Belt. The prestige lies there, and that belt is something I haven't gotten a shot at in over a year. Not because I'm not deserving. Let's face it, when I'm active, when I'm healthy, when I'm mentally ready, I'm f***ing good. I don't lose often, and when I do, it's because I was legitimately bested. You people, whether you like me or not, you can never say I didn't fight wars for you. Richlen? He still wants and deserves his revenge. He'll get it. Ganzo Bomb? He never got his. He's probably still hobbled.
But the truth is, I didn't need to kidnap Richlen's girlfriend. I didn't need to destroy Stryker or Ganzobomb. I shouldn't and don't have to resort to that bullshit to show you people that I am the real deal. I am arguably the most technically sound wrestler in this place. I can bring it to you in a bevy of ways, and I do. There's a reason that I command your attention every single time I step into this ring. It's because you know what I'm capable of.
The charade is over. The game is over. You people win. I'm by no means a cookie cutter good guy. I'll still do what I have to win. But the gimmicks stop. I'm not Hollywood. I'm not A-List. I'm not Hideo Nakatomi's henchman. I am Vincent Van Agony.*He makes his way over to the dufflebag. He unzips it, and inside is a sledgehammer. He takes out the sledgehammer.* VIVA: You can call this sledgehammer a lot of things. A tool, a weapon, an equalizer. To me, it's none of those things. To anyone who fights me, rest assured, it will be nothing you need to worry about.
I've reserved this sledgehammer for the status quo. I'm going to use this sledgehammer to shatter the glass ceiling. Being away mentally for this long, it's taught me one thing. The only thing that truly matters to your legacy is how long you can stay at the top. Right now, we have the carousel of men who call themselves the Heavyweight division. As of today, that has changed. I'm finished getting bogged down by lesser titles. And it's not because they aren't worthy. It's because I've never been anything more than a transitional champion. My reign lasted two months.
It's not enough for me. I can't ride off in the sunset knowing that I never earned the respect of this crowd, of my peers, and most of all, of myself.
I've done a lot of terrible shit. And I expect to be crucified to the full extent of the law. There are a lot of men who are going to want to get a piece. To that, I say, I'm ready. My door is open. When push comes to shove, all of the carnage I've left behind me has to be dealt with, otherwise, you stand to get in my way. My conscious is clear, I don't care about anyone here. But I care about that belt. Nothing will shift my focus, not even temporarily.
So if you've got a problem... Find me. If not, get the f*** out of my way.
I'm done selling out to be in. There is no more compromise. There's no reign of agony. There's no love lost in the time of agony. There's no witty pun. There's no wax poetry about how you're all going to get destroyed. That time is done. I will show you all what it means to tangle with Vincent Van Agony when, and only when that bell rings.
I am so much better than I've allowed myself to be. I am so much better than everyone backstage. The time is now to show you.
It just so happens that Gus Richlen holds the belt. As long as that is the truth, target acquired. You aren't on borrowed time, nothing like that. But I'm going to chip away. I'm going to slowly, methodically work on my game, work on my craft, earn my keep. And when it's time, I'm going to take that belt. And I'm not going to give it up.*ViVA drops the mic, puts the sledgehammer back in the duffel bag, zips it up, and walks to the back.* TH: An unexpected contender for the title has emerged. JK: It sounds like he’s ready to play the long game, Hoss. This is a new Vincent Van Agony. One who has patience. One who has been humbled. But not one who keels over and dies. This is a new beginning as far as I’m concerned. TH: We encourage everyone to stay tuned in the weeks to come. What lies in store for Vincent Van Agony? JK: Until then, it’s time for those important messages…

The only person doing any detective work these days is Connor Mackenzie.JK: There's no mystery to crushing an ant beneath your boot though.TH: As an Ant, Antihero is quite large though, so I wouldn't be so sure.DING! DING! DING! *Aaron and Antihero stare each other down from their corners. How did he do that?*Aaron goes for the pin! 1…2…Kickout! Antihero barely gets the shoulder up!* JK: Antihero still kicked out!TH: What can Aaron do to put him down for the three count?*Aaron lifts up Antihero. He throws Antihero in the ropes and grabs him on the rebound, slamming him with a Reverse STO!* JK: The regular STO didn’t work, maybe the reverse one will?!TH: Antihero looks quite dazed!*Aaron goes for the pin! 1…2…Kickout! Antihero manages to barely get the shoulder up!* TH: Aaron almost had him!*Aaron lifts up Antihero and tries for the Brilliant Deduction. Antihero counters and pushes Aaron away. Two!
Three!DING! DING! DING! MM: Here is your winner by pinfall: Antihero...JK: That was blatant cheating! [shadow=red,left,300]NITERAW[/shadow] [glow=BRONZE,2,300]TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow] CONNOR MACKENZIE VERSUS BULL ANT TH: Welcome back, FAWA fans. We have none other then the main event for the evening. Last week Connor Mackenzie advanced to the semi-finals of the Lord of the Ring tournament and now is able to challenge the TV Champ here tonight!JK: Last week Connor Mackenzie defeated the Mad Pirate Mulligan, if on a technicality. Now we know who Connor might be facing in the semi-finals.TH: Indeed King! But for now lets hand things over to Michael Muffer...MM: Ladies and gentlemen, our next match is for the FAWA Television Championship!MM: Entering the ring first; The Challenger
From Halifax, Nova Scotia;
Weighing 225lbs;
He is "the Digital Dragon..." Connor Mackenzie!TH: He scored a controversial win over the Mad Pirate Mulligan last week when a mysterious man in black attacked Connor.JK: I think they're in cahoots, TH. He benefitted too much from that attack.TH: On the other hand, his head is still looking a tad bruised from that steel chair shot. Could this cost Connor Mackenzie the match tonight against Bull Ant?MM: And his opponent;
From The Anthill;
Weighing 328lbs;
He is the FAWA Television Champion:
Bull... Ant!TH: He is the reigning Television Champion for the past several weeks. He's racked up three defenses so far, and if he can defend against Connor tonight and Antihero next week, he'll be able to challenge for either the Freakin' Awesome or Interforums TitlesJK: He's an uphill battle to say the least. He outweighs the Digital Dragon by nearly a hundred pounds. If he can handle Connor Mackenzie, he should manage against Antihero next week, assuming Antihero doesn't pull the same crap on him.TH: We'll find out tonight then, as they square off. It's a Lord of the Ring Semi-Finalist taking on the Television Champion...DING! DING! DING! TH: And here we go!*Bull and Connor circle the ring, eyeing one another before Bull Ant charges in. Connor hops out of the way as Bull skids to a stop. Turning he is met with a quick chop to the chest from Connor.* JK: Yowza!TH: One of Mackenzie's patented chops there but Bull Ant seems to be unphased at this point by it.*Bull moves his hand to his chest but seems to shrug the blow off as he latches onto Connor and tosses him into a corner. Once in, he starts to ram Connor's midsection with shoulder thrusts.* JK: Haha! Manhandling Mackenzie, I could get used to seeing that.TH: Bull Ant certainly making no exceptions here as he lays into him in the corner.*As the ref starts to move to try and stop Bull he does so on his own. Mackenzie is crumpled into the corner from the thrusts as Bull moves to take an arm and irish whips him into the opposing corner.* JK: That's gonna sting.*Bull makes a rush and throws himself towards Connor but Connor spins, letting Bull pass and make contact with the ring post. Groggilly he starts to pull himself out as Connor recovers.* TH: The champ perhaps looking for a quick end but no one home as Mackenzie gets out of the way.*As Bull turns he is met with a stiff kick to his arm. Moving to hold it he is met with another, then a third before Mackenzie tries to latch onto Bull's arm for a Labell lock. Shoving Connor off, Mackenzie bounces off the ropes and leaps, hitting a jumping arm breaker on Bull that sends him to the mat.* TH: Bah gawd! Mackenzie certainly capitalizing now!JK: What's he doing now Hoss?!*Connor quickly moves to the downed Bull Ant but is quickly grabbed by Bull's good hand and pulled in. Lifting up to his feet, Bull hits an over-the shoulder power slam that rocks the ring. Connor is laid out as Bull holds his arm, trying to shake it back to life.* TH: Wow! The champ still in this that is for certain!*Connor is laying motionless as Bull Ant gets to his feet. Moving to Connor, he reaches down and starts getting his opponent up, hooking him in as he looks about and lifts.* TH: Bull Ant perhaps Seeing Red here with his own customary reverse suplex!*As Bull holds Connor up, Connor's feet start to wobble, then kick. Squirming, Connor starts to fall over Bull Ant's shoulder, twisting and managing to grab onto Bull's chin to hit a backcracker before grabbing on and locking in a dragon sleeper.* TH: Grip of the Dragon! Grip of the Dragon! Mackenzie's got it locked in!*Bull Ant struggles but is unable to move as Connor hooks his legs around Bull, cinching him in. Slowly Bull Ant's arms stop flailing as Connor leans back, holding on with what he has left. The ref moves to lift up Bull Ant's arm and lets it go, the arm dropping as the ref signals a "ONE" count that the crowd counts along with.[/color] JK: How does he keep doing that?! He could very well have made the champ pass out from lack of oxygen!*Connor maintains the Dragon sleeper on Bull Ant as McFloyd drops the arm a second time...* TH: We could be looking at a new Television Champion right here.JK: Who knew an Ant could give a Dragon so much trouble?*Suddenly, a man dressed head to toe in black climbs over the audience barrier and steps up to the apron...* JK: Wait, it's that man in black again!TH: Is he here to help Connor Mackenzie again?JK: He better not, or else he's definitely in cahoots with Connor.*The referee grabs Bull Ant's arm a third time and releases it-* TH: He's fighting back! The TV Champ is fighting back!JK: He was down but he is not out!*Bull Ant slams his elbow into Connor's midsection. Connor, transfixed by the man in black lets go with little resistance.* TH: The man in black is distracting the challenger! Bull Ant on the offensive!*Bull Ant uppercuts Connor in the gut, bending him over...* TH: He's stamping his feet. The World's Strongest Ant is ready to finish the Digital Dragon!JK: Connor should reboot by leaving the ring, but of course he won't!*He backs up to the ropes, then spears Connor from behind, bucking him up and over onto his back.* TH: Bull Ant with his mighty Bull Rush!JK: That could paralyze Connor Mackenzie!*Mackenzie lays prone as Bull Any hooks the legs hard as the ref counts.* ONE! TWO! THREE! DING! DING! DING! MM: Here is your winner as a result of a pinfall and still your FAWA Television Champion: Bull... Ant!TH: It was a solid contest of technique versus power, but it looked like Connor had that man in black on the mind instead of the World's Strongest Ant.JK: Bull Ant is just one pinfall away from being able to challenge either Gus Richlen for the Interforums Championship or else his own sister for the Freakin' Awesome Championship.TH: And the man he must get past is none other than Antihero.JK: Oh. Never mind. He's ready.TH: I wouldn't underestimate Anithero. He's willing to take short cuts on his opponents.JK: On Bull Ant though? Yeah right.TH: Who is the man in black? What is his agenda? Who does he work for? What does Connor have to do with it? Keep tuning into Niteraw, ladies and gentlemen and find out. Until then, I'm Gorilla Tim Hoss.JK: I'm Jesse King.TH: And we'll see you all next week.
