i don't think i ever brought up my theory of how she is a lesbian
i mean lets think about it. even anne frank(kudos for anyone who gets that) could see that Doug is madly in love with her. i mean i understand that it might be overwhelming, but doug really isn't that terrible looking of a guy, and has a hell of a lot of charisma. i mean whats the big deal. i know that they kind of date, but nothing is ever solid with them. its once big cocktease
now to the stereotypes. she is better than all of the guys in general at all sports. tries out for the guys baseball team when their plenty of womens sports availible in bluffington. why try to show them up. she's not very girlish in attitude except for her southern draw and a little bit of charm. i mean is being raised by a single dad, so it's understandable the lack of feminine influence. but yet her best freinds are very girly girls: Bebe Bluff and Connie Benge. but she never really gets into the whole act.
and last but not least. the hair. through the nickelodeon run, her hair was short. and even though her dress was quite girlish, it was side tracked by the fact that her hair was still short. than as she got older (disney's doug) she dropped the skirt, found some jeans and Cut her hair shorter. going for an androgynus Annie Lennox look.

She's just a tomboy. They were really young, when they moved over to ABC they were just getting into Middle School, she probably eventually grew out of being such a tomboy and began being more girly. Probably around the end of middle school or the summer before going into high school.

People don't know this, but before Patty Mayonnaise was in middle school she witnessed a brutal mob hit. After testifying in court she was placed in the witness protection program where she never again would see the love of her life, Marcy.
Before that her name was Patty, but instead of the sour bitter sandwhich topping at the end of her name to symbolize her loss, she had another name that belayed the bold and refreshing manner in which she embraced life. Peppermint.
Now you know the truth, Patty Mayonnaise is in fact Peppermint Patty and we all know Perppermint Patty is a lesbian.
