Well let' start in December.
Book a world title match between Bret Hart and Razor Ramon which ends in Razor using a steel chair behind the refs back for the win. WWE fans write in letters of complaint to President JT who then announces that Razor (Scott Hall to all you fanboys out there) is stripped of the title and Bret vs Razor shall have a re-match...
the rematch goes to a time-limit draw.
So - no title holder.
Prez Jack announces that the winner of the Royal Rumble will be the new WWF Champ, as per previous year and Bret and Razor square off in a singles match on the night to determine who enters the Rumble at number 30....
Yoko wins the Rumble, obviously he's like 900lbs - duh.
So anway Yoko comes out on Raw and says loads of anti-American stuff, saying how he defeated the entire WWF in the Rumble, say he's unstopable blah blah blah..
That's where Hogan comes in making his glorious return to save us from this evil Jap who is actually Samoan and just looks a bit Japanese if you're uber racist and think anyone with narrow eyes is "a bit Japanese...."
So there you have your main event:
Yokosuna vs The Immortal Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship.
As for Bret? Well, remember his feud with Razor earlier?
Bret Hart vs Razor Ramon - Looser leaves town match. Have Razor go over and have Bret take two months off.
How to get Bret back? KOTR - have it open to "any competitior" and have Bret enter that as an "non-WWF employee" and win it therefore a way of getting him back into things and also give him some time off.
I'd also liked to see Perfect Vs Savage - have Mr. P return heel after getting rid of Flair in January and attack his Survivor Series partner in a "I knew he hadn't really changed" moment.
Luger? Well.....who cares.
Beefcake (if you must) Vs Million Dollar Man in a singles match with Jimmy Hart and IRS in respective corners. No Hulk involvement.

I'm gonna book it if Hogan and Beefcake had not returned, Flair hadn't left, and Jannetty wasn't suspended, and Flair won the Rumble and no Yoko:
Instead of Ceaser's out door stadium, it is simply held at The Thomas and Macks Center in Las Vegas with more of a casino vegas theme. Steve Wynn and Frank Sinatra are present in the audience, Wayne Newton sings the National Atheme, Dean Martin is the guest ring announcer for the main event, while Cher serves as the guest time keeper.
IC Title Match Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty (w/Sherri) Sherri gets sent to the back after to many attempts to interfere on Marty's behalf, how ever after a hard fought battle Marty nails Shawn with the Rocker dropper out of nowhere, and wins the IC title Sherri comes back out to celebrate
Doink "The Clown" vs. Crush same thing happens double Doink, Crush however finds the other Doink underneath the ring and shows the referee and the ref reverses the decision Crush wins and that is the last time we see double Doink
Giant Gonzales (w/Harvey Wipplemen) vs. The Undertaker(w/ Paul Bearer) "Casket match" Undertaker wins after koing Gonzales with a chair this is the last time we see Gonzales
Tag Team Titles The Nasty Boys vs. Money Inc. (w/Jimmy Hart) The Nasty Boys are on the verge of winning when Jimmy Hart reveals his newest client Bam Bam Bigelow who comes out and nails both Knobbs and Sags with headbutts while Jimmy has the referee distracted. Money Inc. retain
Heritage vs. Mask Match Kim Chee vs. Kamala (w/ Slick) If Kim Chee wins Kamala gets deported back to Africa, if Kamala wins Kim Chee must unmask. Kim Chee wins by knocking out Kamala with a loaded forarm, he then unmasked himself to be Lex Luger, Kim Chee comes out and him, Heenan, and Lugar all have a big laugh
Mr. Perfect vs. Razor Ramon great back and fourth match up with Perfect getting the win with the Perfect Plex, Razor reluctantly shakes Perfects hands and leaks his upcoming face turn
The Steiner Brothers vs. The Headshrinkers *winners get a shot at Money Inc. The next night on Raw* Same as the match they had, pushes Stieners right into #1 contenders spot
WWE Championship match Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair "Iron Man Match" They put on a true one hour classic with 40 minutes into the bout Flair is up by 2 falls, Bret gets one fall on Flair, then with 30 seconds left Bret has Flair in the Sharpshooter Heenan gets up from the boardcast booth and interferes ring as the bell rings and boast that Flair has won however Jack Tunney comes down and order Heenan away from ringside and the referee determins that Heenan interference counted and that there is a tie which Tunney rules will be determined in sudden death, which Hart wins with the Sharpshooter ( I know I took this from Michaels/Bret WM 12 but i feel it would've been better this way)
and that's all folks

WWF Title Bret Hart V/S Randy Savage:
Considering they had put Bret over Flair, tried to put him over the Warrior (according to some sources), and later tried to put him over Hogan, this was really the only Top Quality match they could do at the time. Have the last 3 men in the rumble be Savage, Yoko, and Backlund with the two smaller men teaming up against the monster, Bob gets eliminated and then after being dominated for a while have Savage low Bridge Yoko to win the title shot.
WWF IC title: Shawn Michaels V/S Bob Backlund:
Even though he was undefeated I never bought Tatanka as a serious challenger. About 3 weeks before the show have Shawn come on TV complaining he has no one to face, then have Bob come out a calmly say "Mr. Michaels. I will challenge you." Shawn laughs it off asking what an old man could do and Bob shoots him around the ring before Shawn runs away.
WWF Tag Title: Money INC. V/S Steiner Brothers:
Since there is no reason to have Hogan in the Main event, he won't show. Have a four team battle royal with the Steiners, Headshrinkers, Beverlys, and Bushwackers (And the Nasty's if they were still there), with the Stieners winning the title shot on RAW.
Undertaker V/S Bam Bam Beigelow:
I would think Bammer would be a natural as Harvy's bounty Hunter against the dead man. Have Bammer come out during the rumble and Flatten the taker with the diving headbutts and cost him the rumble
Mr. Pefect V/S Lex Luger:
The only match I'd keep unchanged as the fued actually was pretty good, evben if the matches were not.
The Undercard:
Crush V/S Yokozuna Doink V/S Owen Hart Headshrinkers V/S Bushwackers Razor Ramon V/S Typhoon

#1 contenders match for the tag team titles:
Steiners vs Headshrinkers - Same match that was originally on the card, would make for a nice opener
Doink vs Crush - The fued was in high gear at this point and the logic thing would be for them to have a match at Mania
IC Title:
Shawn Michaels vs Brutus Beefcake - HBK cuts a promo weeks earlier saying he got rid of Marty and now he wants someone new to face. The Barber returns and says he feels partly responsible for the Rockers break up because it happened on the Barbershop. He wants revenge on Shawn and a Mania IC title shot which he never got due to his own injuries
Yokozuna vs Tatanka - After winning the Rumble, but losing the World title shot to Hulk Hogan on Raw Yoko wants to end Tatanka's streak and face the winner of the main event
WWF Tag Team Titles: Money INC vs Nasty Boys - The Nasties just had a face turn (I think) and would be good opponents for Money INC at Mania
Razor Ramon vs Undertaker- Just off a World title shot at the Rumble, Razor would be a much better opponent for Taker than Gonzalez
Mr. Perfect vs Lex Luger - Keep that match the same and give it more time
WWF Championship:
Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan - The Hulkster returns and beats Yoko on Raw for the title shot
