Just thinking about how I used to play EWR. I remember one game I started with either the crappiest promotion or one of the crappiest promotions. I had a roster of all no-name guys with terrible stats and none of the big names would even consider joining my company.
But I worked on it built up the company and was able to afford my first big star...SILVER KING! I remember I then built the shows around him and eventually turned him into an authority figure with I think a cowboy gimmick (or perhaps he was an authority figure that then transitioned into a cowboy gimmick).
How about you?

How about you? One day I was screwing with the Real Life Data in TEW, I think it was a 1996 mod, and I put Hulk Hogan in ECW, HBK in WCW and I think RVD in WWE. Then I simmed about six months Most notable was Hogan of course, who after a short feud with Ballz Mahoney, which included a Barbed Wire Match, passed away. I didn't find out the cause, but I'm assuming that ECW was just too extreme for him.

Wrestling promotion "sim". You run/book a company in competitions with other feds.
My latest one is based off some idiot who won the Powerball and has infinte funds to blow on wrestling. So, it's a third major promotion which is just basically TNA split in half with indy guys. No WWE guys will work for me. lol. Business isn't very good, but hey, I still got $250,000,000.

One time though, I started a new game of TEW as New Japan, and on day FREAKING one Vince McMahon died. Pretty bizarre.

Did he feud with Marty Confetti? Lesnar. Hopefully you jobbed Lesnar out in that feud I'm dumb, what is this 'EWR'? Extreme Warfare Revenge. It was a a wrestling game on freeware that allowed you to book your own fantasy wrestling company. I think you can probably still find a download for it somewhere on the Internet.

Hopefully you jobbed Lesnar out in that feud Of course I did. Johnny Polo's bigger than Cena is today. He even has his own line of professional polo apparel!

Took Caylen Croft, turned him into a household name as Kris Pavone, movie star turned wrestler.
Even had the late Larry Sweeney as his agent.

The problem I have is getting momentum. I think I book things too equally. It almost feels like the game doesn't care if a feud is the guy a beating guy b 800 times in a row, as long as the segments are good. In real life, no one would care.
Like for example:
For some reason the game let me sign Kurt Angle when I wasn't supposed to be able to. He's old and broken down and needs a slow, slow build. Meanwhile, Sean Waltman is a dick and is on firing's door, I'm burying him. So, in Kurt Angle's second match right after a PPV where Kevin Thorn squashed Waltman (as Lucifer), he squashes Waltman and doesn't release the ankle lock. The segment goes through the roof.
So I start a feud and the first two segments are A+. Makes no sense, but I'll roll with it, Waltman's career is saved for now. I don't get A+ segments.

If he's talking about the game he told me about and showed me, he booked Scott Hall. A lot. As in, every match and segment of every show, Scott Hall was involved in some way, shape, or form. fairly interesting way to kill a promotion.
