150. Haruko HaruHara (FLCL) Haruko Haruhara is an energetic, spontaneous pink-haired girl from outer-space and investigator for the Galactic Space Patrol Brotherhood/Stellar Fraternity. Mamimi observes that she looks at least twenty years old but, considering that she is of an unknown alien species, neither Mamimi nor the viewer has a relevant frame of reference. She rides a yellow Piaggio Vespa (and is also known as The Wasp Woman, a pun on the word Vespa, which means wasp) and wields a blue, left-handed Rickenbacker bass guitar model 4001 (similar to the 4001 used by Paul McCartney, whom she mentions in Episode 5), with a pull-cord motor on the back, as a bizarre weapon of sorts. Her guitar is able to shoot bullets, act as a rocket launcher, fly, and is used several times to open an N.O. channel in Naota's forehead. She leaves it for a more powerful double-necked guitar (a fusion of the Gibson Flying V, drawn from Naota's N.O. channel, and the 1961 Gibson EB-0, from Atomsk's, that Naota creates while harnessing Atomsk's power) when she departs from Earth in Episode 6. She becomes the Nandaba household's maid and plays on a rival team of the Mabase Martians seemingly for extra money, but in fact to knock a satellite out of Earth's orbit with the baseballs she hits. She has also apparently had past relations with Amarao, most likely similar to her relationship with Naota. This mysterious character is the catalyst for FLCL's entire plot. She is called Haruha Raharu by Amarao; this may be another alias, however. Haruko has connections to the Nandaba family cat, Miu Miu. The cat serves as a "walkie talkie" to her superiors. The cat does not speak (besides its "meows" and grunts) but it is obvious that Haruko is getting some kind of reply as her conversations with Miu Miu are reminiscent to that of a telephone conversation. Naota calls Haruko Haruhara "Haruko", Kamon calls her "Haruko-san", and Mamimi refers to her as "Haru-san". Amarao, who believes her real name to be Haruha Raharu, refers to her as "Raharu". At the end of the manga adaptation, a character identical to Haruko appears from Naota's forehead. She claims to be "Haruha Raharu's superior [...] Superior Raharu" and that Haruko is on the run from the Galaxy Space Police Brotherhood. It is not clear if this is a separate character, or Haruko pretending to be someone else.

149. Dawn (Pokemon) Dawn is a ten year old girl Pokémon trainer from Twinleaf Town in Sinnoh. Her mother Johanna was once a Top Pokémon coordinator, having won the Grand Festival. Wishing to follow in her mother's footsteps, Dawn set out to become a Pokémon coordinator. Her starter Pokémon was a Piplup, received from Professor Rowan. She chose Piplup specifically because they already went through an adventure. Dawn also saw the legendary Pokémon Mesprit (similar to Ash, who saw Ho-Oh at the start of his journey). Dawn came across an injured Pikachu whom she thought was a wild Pikachu thus Dawn and Piplup came forward and began trying to attack and capture it. Whilst defending itself from Dawn's Piplup, the Pikachu destroyed her bike (a running gag in the series; both May and Misty have had their bikes fried by an errant bolt of lightning). As it turned out, the Pikachu she came across was Ash's injured Pikachu. She and Piplup, again by themselves, helped save Pikachu from Team Rocket. She is currently traveling through Sinnoh with Ash and Brock. She finds a rival in Nozomi. In some of the episodes, Dawn tends to wear different clothing almost everyday. In contests, she usually puts on a fashionable dress. On the first episode, "Following a Maiden Voyage", she brought a suitcase full of contest dresses and clothing. However, her mother packed the necessary things in a small Pokémon bag (similar to the one in the games). She won the Floroama Ribbon with the help of Pachirisu and Piplup. She has a habit of saying "Daijôbu!" meaning 'it's fine!' even though it's not.

148. Debbie DuPree (Sealab 2021) Debbie DuPree is the token female of the crew, a marine biologist, and blonde and beautiful to boot. Being the token female, she tends to get upset when the guys do chauvinistic things but is also a stereotypical dumb blonde. She has an on going sexual relationship with Doctor Quinn and slept with Murphy at least once. In the last season, she becomes devoutly religious, going so far as to speak in tongues.

147. Shizune (Naruto) Shizune is the assistant of Tsunade and a talented Medic-nin. She left Konoha with Tsunade after her uncle, Dan, died, and trained under Tsunade for many years afterwards. Shizune is quite close to Tsunade, being one of the few people Tsunade will trust with absolute certainty. Unlike Tsunade, Shizune is level-headed, practical, and a rational thinker. As a result, she tends to stress over details like Tsunade's tendency to gamble and think with her heart. She often gets comically worked up over any irrational decision Tsunade makes. Shizune also looks after Tonton, Tsunade's pet pig. While she is loyal to Tsunade, Shizune is more than willing to defy her wisdom if it is for the better good. When Tsunade seems ready to help Orochimaru, Shizune is willing to give up her life to stop her. In Part II she reports to Konoha's elders about some of Tsunade's, decisions, causing a temporary strain between the two. In battle, Shizune often uses jutsu involving poison, such as using Poison Mist to blow poisonous gas from her mouth. She also frequently uses poisoned needles, as seen when she spits them at opponents through Hidden Mouth Needles or she uses the wrist-mounted device hidden beneath her sleeves to launch them at surprised opponents with Prepared Needle Shot.

146. Maude Flanders (The Simpsons) Maude Flanders was the happily married wife of Ned Flanders. With Ned, she had two children, Rod and Todd Flanders, in whom she instilled her unwavering piety. Maude was a woman with many positive qualities: faith, chastity, charity. Maude Flanders was a devout Christian who once attended a Bible camp to learn how to be more judgmental. She campaigned strongly against Itchy and Scratchy with Marge. While she was not employed outside the home (aside perhaps from occasional stints at her husband's small business, the Leftorium), Maude was a busy homemaker and a tireless advocate for the children, whose innocence is so often sullied by the evils of cartoon violence, liberal education and the insidious influences of popular culture. Even though she spent much of her free time in prayer and reading the Bible, Maude was known to let her hair (and her neckline) down for the occasional dinner party at the home of her neighbors, the Simpsons. Homer often made statements insinuating his attraction to Maude, thereby literally coveting his neighbor's wife. She held a deep love for ficus plants, unflavored ice milk and Newsweek magazine. In "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily", on May 13, 2000, Maude died after being knocked off a grandstand at the Springfield Speedway (If Homer had not been distracted from catching the t-shirts launched in her direction by an air-bazooka, it is likely that the accident could have been averted). Homer had also parked in the ambulance zone, preventing any quick resuscitation. Her death crushed the surviving Flanders, who, though used to some measure of hardship (house-destroying hurricanes and car crashes among them), assumed that they would always be together. Maude's death is considered the Simpsons' most show-changing death. Reverend Lovejoy eulogized her as follows: "In many ways, Maude Flanders was a supporting player in our lives. She didn't grab our attention with memorable catchphrases, or comical accents. But, whether you noticed her or not, Maude was always there ... and we thought she always would be." In "I'm Goin' to Praiseland", after Maude's death, the grieving Ned saw in her sketchbook a series of drawings that outlined a plan for a Christian-themed amusement park named "Praiseland". Realizing this park to be her final dream, Ned acquired the defunct amusement park "Storytime Village" (from "Lisa the Vegetarian") from Colonel Antoine "Tex" O'Hara ("The Rich Texan") and, with the assistance of Homer and other townspeople, built and opened Praiseland. He memorialized Maude there with a statue bearing her likeness, on whose base there was a plaque bearing the phrase "She taught us the joy of shame and the shame of joy". Praiseland gained popularity among the residents of Springfield when they erroneously attributed to the statue of Maude the performance of miracles providing religious experiences. The religious experiences and attendant hallucinations were actually the result of the inhalation of gas that was leaking from a gas line near the base of the statue.

145. Jinx (Teen Titans) Jinx is a H.I.V.E. student with Gizmo and Mammoth. She was completely reimagined from the comics, bearing no similarities with her comic counterpart. Her first mission (for which they received order from the H.I.V.E. Headmistress who had been hired by Slade) with her classmates was to destroy the Titans. They managed to get the Titans out of their tower, but the Titans returned and defeated the evil teens. In this iteration of Teen Titans, Jinx has pale skin, possesses no elemental magic, has pink hair and does not have cancer. Jinx was involved in a series of bank robberies with Gizmo and Mammoth but the Titans planted a tracking device on her while they escaped and had Cyborg enter the H.I.V.E. as a student to infiltrate their organization. Cyborg posed as "Stone" and befriended the villainous trio. It has been hinted at that Jinx and Stone may have developed small crushes on each other during this time, though Jinx didn't know that "Stone" was really Cyborg in disguise. Soon Cyborg's identity was revealed and he brought down the H.I.V.E. Academy. Jinx appeared hurt by Cyborg's betrayal, but escaped with her friends and formed The H.I.V.E. Five with Gizmo, Mammoth, Billy Numorous, See-More and Private H.I.V.E. Jinx and the other members of the H.I.V.E. Five briefly engaged the Titans in combat during a raid on a shopping mall, but just as they were gaining the upper hand in the battle, the entity known as Mother Mae-Eye appeared and defeated them. She then appeared as the de facto leader of a slightly reorganized H.I.V.E. Five group, consisting of herself, Mammoth, Gizmo, See-More, Billy Numerous, and Kyd Wykkyd (when it was pointed out that the group now consists of six members, rather than five, the indignant teens' only response was that the original group name "sounds cooler"). Jinx was apparently the only member of this group who took her criminal career seriously, as the other members all displayed a serious lack of initiative and a remarkably short attention span. This latest incarnation of the H.I.V.E. Five was foiled during a raid on a museum by the teenaged superhero Kid Flash, and in an attempt to improve the group's standing in the eyes of the Brotherhood of Evil, Jinx attempted to capture Kid Flash and present him to the Brotherhood as a gift. Jinx particularly hoped to win the approval and respect of Madame Rouge, whom she idolized. However, Kid Flash took a liking to Jinx, and during their encounters, he alternately flirted with her and tried to convince her to renounce her life of crime. She later told Kid Flash that it was her power of "bad luck" that made her decide on pursuing a villainous life, since she saw little alternative considering the nature of her powers. Jinx was eventually successful in capturing Kid Flash (with See-More's assistance), but she quickly released him after Madame Rouge's constant string of insults and patronizing attitude became too much for her to bear. At that point she swiftly knocked Madame Rouge down (which apparently impressed her as Rouge then said "We'll keep in touch"). Afterward, Jinx turned down an opportunity to join in a robbery with the other members of the H.I.V.E. Five, and, wishing See-More goodbye, disappeared into the shadows, assumingly to join forces with Kid Flash permanently. It is noticeable that she is the only Hive member not to attack any Titans in "Calling All Titans". In "Titans Together" she, along with Kid Flash, helped the Titans defeat the Brotherhood of Evil by capturing the H.I.V.E. Five, and then became an Honorary Titan. She was seen in the Titans Tower, socializing with the other Titans and later preparing to help them stop Dr. Light after he robbed a bank.

144. Anzu Mazaki [Tea Gardner *English*] (Yi-Gi-Oh) Anzu, who is in class 1-B at Domino High School, is the childhood friend of Yugi Mutou (romanized as Yugi Muto in the English anime). She is also good friends with Katsuya Jounouchi (known as Joey Wheeler in the English anime) and Hiroto Honda (Tristan Taylor), though she is not fond of them at first. In the first series anime, Miho Nosaka is also one of Anzu's friends. Anzu does not usually play games with Yugi and his friends, but in the beginning of the show, she can beat Jonouchi in Duel Monsters (Magic and Wizards in the Japanese version of the manga), while she herself is not that strong a player. Anzu has a spunky, tomboyish personality, and in the first chapter, frightens Honda and Jonouchi into leaving the room after they bully Yugi. Anzu possesses a very kind-hearted, strong-willed, and supportive personality. She can also be seen in some parts of the series as a quick-tempered, pushy, mischievous and somewhat bratty girl who likes doing everything her friends do. In the Duel Monsters anime, she and Honda, while keeping their personalities somewhat the same, are basically cheerleaders for Yugi and Jonouchi. She is known among fans of the Duel Monsters English anime for her "friendship speeches", as she makes one in the majority of the episodes she appears in. Anzu, Honda, and Miho work at Burger World, with Miho and Honda working to support Anzu. Once Burger World closes, Honda and Miho work for a beef bowl restaurant. Anzu is in love with Yugi, but is uncertain if it is Dark Yugi (Yami Yugi) or regular Yugi that she loves more. The story of Anzu's affection for Yugi differs from medium to medium and is a hot debate topic among the fans. During Duelist Kingdom, and later Battle City Tournaments, Anzu have several close encounters with the Shadow Games herself, including being turned into one of her favourite card monsters, the Magician of Faith (when she and her friends became pawns of Dark Bakura as he and Dark Yugi dueled against each other in a Duel Monster Shadow Game), and having her mind possessed by Marik, in his quest, or more precisely, plot of revenge against the Nameless Pharaoh (AKA Dark Yugi). In most cases, Anzu's friends, especially Yugi and Dark Yugi, rescue her whenever there's danger. But despite all the mayhem and trouble that endanger her life, Anzu, in some scenarios, manages to rescue herself from the perils of the series if it means protecting her friends. Her strongest example of this comes in the Japanese version of the Yu-Gi-Oh movie, "Pyramid of Light". When Anzu's soul is taken into the Millennium Puzzle by Anubis, she not only manages to resist him temporarily, but she even manages to break into the Pyramid of Light itself to try and convince Yugi and Kaiba to stop their duel. How she is able to accomplish this feat is never explained, but one theory could be that she allowed her soul to be taken voluntarily, while Yugi, Jonouchi and Honda had their souls taken against their will.

143. Shego (Kim Possible) Though introduced as a villain, Shego’s past was revealed in Season 2. Like Kim, Shego was once a teen hero, part of a group of crime-fighting superheroes known as Team Go, which was composed of her and her four brothers. She began life in Go City. One day her tree house was struck by a mysterious rainbow colored comet which endowed her, and her four brothers, with superpowers. After the comet strike, Shego and her brothers formed Team Go. However, Shego eventually grew tired of the restraints put on her by being a superhero and by her overeager, constantly squabbling and somewhat dimwitted brothers. She gradually crossed over to the other side, abandoning her family and their quest for justice in exchange for a life as a mercenary for hire. In addition, according to Hego, she started to like fighting and evil themselves more than fighting evil. At the beginning of the series, Shego was cast as Dr. Drakken's sidekick. It is during this period of her life, which covers the first three seasons of the show, that Shego began to face Kim every time she cooperated in an evil scheme, whether it was with Drakken or some other villain character. Their encounters and fights seem to be always expected even by themselves, most of these battles being won by Kim, but rarely managing to imprison her. During the second season, Shego was unwillingly reunited with her family and teamed up with none other than her rival, Kim, in order to defeat an old foe of her days as a hero in order to help her brothers recover their powers, which had been stolen. This was the first time in which part of Shego’s past was revealed. In the early episodes of forth season, Shego has shown less concern for Drakken, for example leaving him behind while being broken out of prison by other villains. However, after two such breakouts, as well as a vacation from her job, she returned to Drakken when she heard that he had been broken out of prison, only to learn that he had replaced her with an alien warrior named Warmonga, who had freed him. Because of Shego's mocking attitude towards Drakken, she was opposed by the new sidekick and even teamed up with Kim to get rid of Warmonga. With Warmonga gone, Shego returned to her place as Drakken's enforcer, as sarcastic as ever. Part-way through the season, Shego was briefly turned good by a former enemy of Team Go. During this time she was sweet and excitable, and was shown to have a lot in common with Kim. Afterwards, she still returned to Drakken regardless. Shego is the only Kim Possible villain ever to successfully take over the world, a feat which she accomplished in the multi part episode A Sitch in Time. After watching Drakken fail in his attempts to use the Tempus Simia, a mystical idol with the power to create portals through space-time, to attack Kim Possible at vulnerable moments in her life, Shego —acting on the advice of her future self— uses the Tempus Simia to travel in time where she employs her knowledge of future events to invest in the technology sector as it grew and to pull out just before the bubble burst thus making a healthy profit. Noting that Ron and Kim worked best when they were together, Shego used some of her money to purchase the bank that Ron's mother worked for and transfer her to Norway —thus splitting up Team Possible. With Team Possible separated, Kim fared badly against the villains of the present and was forced to travel to the future, leaving the world undefended and open to takeover by Shego. In this alternate future, Shego —now known as The Supreme One— establishes Middleton as her capital, renaming it "Shegoton", and transforms Club Banana into "Club Shego". She has dissenters brainwashed in special facilities and everyone, aside from a small band of resistance fighters, is forced to wear clothing based on Shego's green and black costume. When the Supreme One was defeated by the intervention of present day Kim and Ron, her world was erased and everything went back to normal.

142. Sam (Totally Spies) Samantha, usually referred to as Sam, has long, wavy red hair, and a green catsuit. She is the most intelligent of the group and is often considered the de-facto leader. She uses her intelligence to create plans and diversions so that the girls can easily capture the villains. Sam also acts as the big sister to the group and keeps the girls in line, but sometimes she will have her moments where she is not as focused as she should be. Sam, like Clover and Alex, enjoys dating, shopping, and visiting salons, but she is not as interested as the others are; unlike Clover, she always puts her studying or missions first. She is considered a little "nerdy" to a certain extent. Sam is also the most sarcastic of the group. She sometimes gets annoyed by Alex and Clover's comments and actions and will reply with a sarcastic remark or joke. One example was in "Futureshock!". The cheerleaders were doing a routine and Mandy fell off the human pyramid and everyone gasped. While Alex noted that the fall obviously was not a part of the routine, Sam suggested that it be worked in. In the episode "Spies in Space", Sam gets called to the principal's office. It turns out that her grades are the best in BHHS history, and that she should go to college. For a while, Sam shows off a bit, like when the victim comments that the spies were smart, Sam replied by saying, "It sure pays to be a college girl." However, at the end Sam chooses to stay in high school. As a play on her intelligence, Sam is frequently brainwashed by villains as a running gag of the series. In the episode "Do You Believe In Magic?", Sam introduces herself as "Samantha Simpson" when she enters the Magician's castle. However, it is unconfirmed if this is her actual last name.
