It seems Maria is there. She was extremely entertained by Joey Ryan and Roddy Strong.

so that really is Maria. no wonder she looks like her
hell of a night so far. Strong/Perkins, Edwards/BCT, and Steen/Willie were all awesome, RockNES/Taylors was entertaining, and Ryan's match was okay (best part happened before the match when Joey tried to attack Mike Knox, who ducked and then laid him out with a leaping clothesline). RockNES was really starting to heel it up during their match, and Brian Cage Taylor is next in line for a title shot and attack both Steen and Willie during their match

holy poop that was an awesome show!
- Joey Ryan beat Famous B via the Tazmission ("beat him if you can, survive if he lets you) - Roderick Strong beat TJ Perkins in a terrific back and forth contest - RockNES beat The Fightin' Taylor Boys after beginning to heel it up big time during the match, winning when Yuma pinned Chucky T while Goodtime held his feet from the outside so he couldn't kick out. big "Bulls***!" chant. afterwards, Goodtime got on the mic and said maybe its about time they got a title shot - Brian Cage-Taylor beat Eddie Edwards in great match. Edwards almost got booed out of the building when, after getting heckled for being from Boston and an "STFU" chant when he had Cage in an STF, he put Cage on the top rope for the backpack chinbreaker and did the "You Can't See Me". post match Cage said he's coming for the PWG World Championship, so if Steen wins tonight he's coming for the gold, and if Willie wins tonight "he's commin' for you, n***a!" - Kevin Steen beat Willie Mack to retain. after a huge ref bump, Brian Cage-Taylor ran in and attacked Steen, was about to leave, then attacked Mack as well. - B-Boy beat Drake Younger in a brutal match. Younger got busted open but kept coming back strong - Michael Elgin (rising star in ROH) beat Sami Callihan (rising star in DGUSA) in another brutal match. they were just punching and clotheslining the hell out of each other - Super Smash Bros. beat FutureShock and The Young Bucks in a ladder match to retain the PWG World Tag Team Championship. this was just balls to the wall crazy. Uno twiced launched the same "fan" into both of the Bucks, Nick got busted open the hardway with the ladder then did a helicopter with it and took everyone out including Matt and Mike Knox, who was busted open and had to be taken to the back. Stupefied pushed tried to push Nick off the ladder out to the floor, but Nick landed perfectly on the top rope and did a springboard flip onto FS, Uno and Matt. SSB stuck Cole in a ladder, placed it upside down in the corner, and launched O'Reilly into it, taking out both of them for the rest of the match. Bucks seemed to have it won when they took out Uno and then when Stupefied tried to dive on him to knock him off, Matt gave him a superkick from the top of the ladder, and the Bucks were about to grab the belts but then Mike Knox ran back in, flipped both of them off, and pushed the ladder over, crouching them on the top rope before they fell out to the floor. SSB tried to dive on them, but Knox stopped them, and then did a running dive on the Bucks himself. SSB then climbed the ladder and retained the titles

HOLY. f***ING.SHIT. Just Holy f***ing shit.
That is by far the PWG show of the year and I don't think anything is going to top it. I mean, hope something does, but at that point it stops being a wrestling show and becomes a religious experience.
In all seriousness though, that was the best show since Steen Wolf and went past it. It's the best PWG show I've ever seen. This show is a candidate for Show of the Year and that ladder match should be a match of the year contender as well.

As it has been said...just absolutely unbelievable. If you thought Steen Wolf was good, this one will leave it in shambles. "Best ever" are words that are used too often, but after 6 years of attending PWG, this one is probably it for me .

So, from what I'm reading, please tell me I'm wrong, but if RockNES worked heel, does that mean that....
Chuck Taylor worked FACE!?!?!?!?!?
Through the looking glass people. Through the motherf***ing looking glass.
All in all, I'm sorry I missed it. I had to choose between PWG and NWA, and since a lot more of my friends are working NWA, plus the fact I have more time to hang out with them, I chose NWA. Still a decent birthday. Hung out at the Rainbow with my buddy Scotty(who KevFalcon has a picture with in the pic thread, oddly enough), and met a super hot, possible sugar momma who shares the same birthday as me, and apparently used to design stage clothes for Dio.
Sorry, I'm drunk, and I'll spare you more of my ramblings. But I will say I'm not missing another Guerilla show, especially if we have a full version of BOLA coming up.
One more thing, anyone on here who's on Facebook, pm me, and I'll add you to the group on there that discusses all the LA shows. If you'd like to, that is(triplethreatmark, you should be easy for me to find).

Wow, that show sounds awesome, can't wait to pick that show up on DVD. I was gonna buy it anyway with a 3-Way Ladder Match, Callihan/Elgin and Steen/Mack on the card. But you guys' reports have made me 100% sure I'll be buying this.

What looks to be the next show on the PWG calendar is taking place on September 1st. I don't know, some tournament involving Los Angeles or something similar.

PWG also announced that Steen won't take part, but that the winner gets a future title shot.

That is a f***ing great line-up. Just really bummed again that it's going to be a one night show again. Twelve participants in the tourney could mean 6 1st round matches, 3 semi-final matches and then a 3-way final possibly. Not to mention a tag team title match in between the last semi-final and BOLA final probably, we could be in for a long night.
