There's a story in this week's Observer about an incident involving Mickie James and an agent backstage that might have led to her match with Beth Phoenix at Armageddon being canned, and the fact that their match wasn't mentioned on the card rundown may support that fact.
I know Mickie's had issues with agents in the past - I seem to recall a couple of times she had disagreements with Arn Anderson, one time over her genuine punches. But then again, over the past few PPV cards, they haven't mentioned the women's matches in the main rundown, and the match is still listed on WWE.com, so we still could be getting it.
Hopefully if there was a problem, it all ended with that JBL prank, and they can move on from there. If Meltzer is on to something, however, I fear for Mickie's future.

He turned her upside down whilst she was strapped to a guerney during an army medical presentation in Baghdad last week.

I'm going on what Dan Wahlers says in his preview of Armageddon on the Observer site. But considering the amount of stuff lifted off the newsletter onto the web, if it meant something, it would have been on already.

The only clue I got on what it might be was this piece: "She might have rubbed someone the wrong way. Or she might have rubbed the wrong person the right way."

I hope this doesn't ruin the match.
What, are they gonna have Candice win the belt again? No thanks.

Ya know, it'd be hilarious if we get an essential repeat of this year's women's division. Mickie wins the belt, looks strong, loses it to Melina, who looks uber-strong, who loses it to Candice, who gets the princess treatment to no reaction, who loses it to Beth, who gets booked strongly but gets no reaction, and back again to Mickie.

Yeah the ECW Tag Match was never mentioned on Smackdown or Raw. Does that mean all four men have the HEATZZZ!?!?
Oh wait, it's ECW and they just don't give a damn.

That sucks if it's true. I know most people don't give 2 craps about the women's division in general, but I think these two could possibly help build a little interest in that division again. Instead we'll end up with a chick nobody likes (Candice) continuing her Trish Stratus Ver 2 push

I could have sworn that the included Beth vs Mickie on the PPV card rundown on the Raw Anniversary show. Maybe not, I can't remember for sure since it's a pretty misable PPV overall and I didnt pay much attention. But I seem to remember them announcing the women's match.
