Would you mark out for a New Age Outlaws return?
I sure as hell know that I would. No denying, Road Dogg was 10/10 on the mic, and the crowd always loved it.
OH YOU DIDN'T KNOW
i guess those guys are in TNA now?

Road Dogg has said over and over again that he will never...EVER...return to WWE, because of the way he was released. It was on their famous RF Shoot interview, I believe.
But...as JR says...never say never. I think it would be entertaining, at least for a little while.

nope, those bitter has-beens have talked shit about just about everyone important in the wwe so i doubt it would happen and if it did it wouldnt interest me because theyre still doing the same act they did in the attitude era only with a lamer name and even worse workrate

I like em. I know I have no practical reason to, but I still mark. I love the "Help me, they're in my house!" VKM theme song and intro, I like the "Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt!" James Gang theme song and "3 G's" intro, and I liked the "Oh you didn't know?" theme song and "proudly brings to you:" intro. Say what you will, but the men know how to make an entrance.

How was he released, exactly? From what I recall, he vanished in like Nov or Dec 2000, while in that program with K-Kwik -- according to Wiki, "he was suspended in December 2000, and the WWF announced his release on January 26, 2001." Hrm, suspended for...?

He had a problem with "mood-enhancers", according to him.

I'd mark for the length of a ring intro, and booked correctly, 1-2 matches.

I'd mark for the length of a ring intro, and booked correctly, 1-2 matches. I agree completely. Things like nostalgia are nice for a short time. But I just don't think you can usually go back and get the same mood or vibe that was there originally. Examples? NWO in the WWE. DX...now. ECW...now. Mick Foley...anytime he is shilling a book these days. You can never go home again.

I always found the NAO annoying.
Still do, especially Road Dogg.
Totally obnoxious.

I'd rather have X-Pac, which is saying something, only for the fact that he can still go in the ring

OH YOU DIDN'T KNOW i guess those guys are in TNA now? Nope. And they've pretty much burned their bridge with McMahon so I don't see that ever happening. They'd better hope that schtick keeps them employed in TNA.

I wouldn't mark out for it at this point. They haven't done much in TNA that has excited me. Their best time together was 10 years ago.

The thing about NAO now is that
- they're older and just look a lot different for it to work the same way (Road Dogg's lost those long dreads and he just looks a lot bigger/thicker than he used to), and; - everything around them in wrestling these days is as shocking as they were, so they don't stand out as anything special...

I LOVED The Outlaws and would LOVE to see them at least make a one time deal with WWE.
I doubt highly it will ever happen because Road Dogg has said he will say "Welcome to Walmart enjoy your shopping experience before he ever goes back up there."
But to the guy that said they were annoying heres something to think about....The Outlaws REVOLUTIONIZED Tag Team wrestling in the late 90s...
Id say the two most sucessful tag teams in the later 90s were The New Age Outlaws and The Outsiders. Both neck and neck when it comes to revolutionizing the business and there is no denying that.

I loved the New Age Outlaws, but I don't want to see them back in the WWE. Both BG and Kip James are past their primes now, and it just wouldn't be the same as it was in the 90's.

From what I've heard, they would both return in a heartbeat. The WWE just doesn't want them back.
Besides, you can see them every Thursday on TNA, if you really are missing them. They're doing basically the same act as they did in the WWE, except they're now the Voodoo Kin Mafia and have a voodoo priestess with them. She wrestles better than they do too!
