The Christmas Eve edition of Raw featuring the Tribute to the Troops special from Iraq did hours of 2.3 and 2.7, for a 2.5 composite cable rating.

Not bad considering it was on Christmas Eve.

They never really care about the ratings for this show.

"Of course nobody was watching--it was Christmas Eve." Where in the article did they say that WWE said that?

"Of course nobody was watching--it was Christmas Eve." It makes sense. Thats the exact reason why I didn't watch Raw.

Not that the Christmas Eve holiday isn't a viable reason for the ratings dip, but it kinda makes you wonder what excuse the WWE would come up with if they ever get those numbers on a night where:
1. There's no major US holiday 2. There's no competition with Monday Night Football or any other major sports playoff or finals 3. The Nielsen ratings weren't messed up

TTTT Is the only show I usually miss every year, because it's Christmas eve. Scoring as high as they did, considering the day, is pretty impressive.

I'm always hella busy on xmas eve. So I miss one Raw. Big deal. It's not going to make WWE go out of business.
