If it happens it would be the one of the shortest title runs (both Hardys) in WWE history if not wrestling.

That would be cool to have brothers as world champs in the same company. As far as I know, the closest we've ever come is Edge in WWE and Christian in TNA

O I think they would do it just to erase the original memory and use that for their feel good wrestlemania moment. I don't know if I believe it would cause them both to die within 3 years but the first thing to pop in my head when you said 'not to tempt fate' was an emo Matt Hardy and Amy Dumas So would doing this WM celebration AND Matt Hardy wearing an "I Will Not Die" t-shirt really tempt fate?

This shouldnt happen simply because the last time something vaguely simmilair to this scenario happened a few years later one person involved was dead and the other was dead and a murderer to boot lets not tempt fate Yes, but could we, perhaps, TWIST fate? hehehe...ahhahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *explodes*

I can't sit through a Jeff Hardy popcorn moves no sell crap fest Eh, Matt's interviews are no worse than Batista's IMO. I'd like to (badly) paraphrase Al Snow here from his Secrets of the Ring interview, where he said "The job of every professional wrestler is to to put an ass every 24 inches, and anyone who thinks differently is kidding himself". Don't know how right that is, since its been about a year since I watched it, but both Matt and Jeff I think can do that. They both have been consistently over since their rise to fame in the late 90's. Matt is one of the top 4 faces on SD!, which may not seem like much, but considering the other three are The Undertaker, Batista, and Rey Mysterio, thats a pretty big feat. Jeff is one of the top 3 faces on Raw,with HHH and Flair, and he has been consistently getting pops equal, or sometimes greater than those two. Both are great merch movers. Both can get the crowd into their matches. I say give them runs with the respective titles.

Matt i could live with since he has improved in the ring leaps and bounds from starting point. Now being compared to Batista isn't fair as Batista has mass on his side. Batista has a little charisma and is a believable champ by size alone.
Jeff being anywhere near the title IMHO is pretty close to David Arquette level. He's simply not good in the ring, he can't carry a show, and I'll be suprised if he could wrestle much longer. If he is not doing some stuptacular stunt people dont give a damn about him.

I'm still not sold on Jeff, but man, Vince tried to squash Matt ever since he came back (outside of this recent feud with MVP) but the man still get loud pops. People love him.

No. It's happened once, any more times and it's just another old WWE classic rehash that doesn't need to be done. Eddie/Benoit is something that should only happen once. Now, I understand the whole want for a "feel-good" Wrestlemania moment, but they need to come up with something else than that.

I agree, especially after the BTR guys, who were fickle on both Hardys for a while, pointed out that at one of the florida SD tapings they went to, they were surprised to hear "an Austin-level crowd reaction" for Matt. Also I'd like to point out that they made Great Khali who's only mic skills consist of having a translator say things, champion. So the mic skills arguement kind of flies out the window. ...also Randy Orton.
