I've always preferred the "American Badass" version of the Undertaker than the "Deadman" version of him. Sure all the supernatural stuff do look cool, but I don't know. I guess it's because the ABA personna made him more human and IMO he was better on the mic since he seemed to be more like his real self in that caracter and could show more emotions than when he's in his other role, but I wish he had stayed that way instead of going back to the supernatural stuff. Maybe I'm just one of few people that thinks like that since I know a lot of people love the Deadman version, but that's how I feel.

i disagree 100%, theres already been too many redneck/biker gimmicks in wrestling and it was sad to see the undertaker lumped into that category, i marked like never before when he finally went back to the deadman

When he was in that gimmick I kind of wanted the deadman back but now I think he should have just stayed as the biker.

I hated the Biker Taker gimmick. After years of being portrayed as an undead monster, all of a sudden he's just your average Harley ridin' redneck. It took everything that was cool away from the character. He should have just been Mark Calaway if that was what they were aiming for.

I'd have to say that original comic book zombie Taker was my favorite at the time, which is what matters most. Ministry Taker was the best character. Biker Taker was a "mortal" for the first time, but still a monster who got to redefine the character for a new generation. Current Undertaker proves that Mark is one of the best workers of all time, bar none.

I'm still not sure which entrance is actually longer...the Undertakers half inch steps to the ring, or the Bikertaker riding his motorcycle around the ring at snails pace...

I agree. Taker was so badass and he was so much more believable and relatable. He was so convincing when he was acting pissed off at people, such as Maven or Jeff Hardy. His did very good mic work during this period. I was watching some stuff from that time period and kept thinking, "Damn, he was good with that gimmick." This seemed like it was much closer to the real Taker as well. I hate seeing him do supernatural stuff on Smackdown like causing lightning and sparks and things like that. Some consider this the part of his career that they wish never happened, but it was my favorite.

I preferred ABA Taker because to me, he had better matches. Deadman Taker just has cooler entrances and more mystique.

The only time I can remember him doing the Dragon Sleeper finisher called Taking Care of Business, was when he was Biker Taker. He seemed a lot more technical, like he would do the guillotine choke and other fancy submissions.

I liked ABA Taker better as well. Taker's great on the mic and it's a shame that he's in a gimmick where he can't really use it much.
Of all the "big tough guy that likes to intimidate people and beat them up" gimmicks (if you want to call it a gimmick), Taker pulls it off as well as anyone could ask. It was nice that he could act believably too. If someone hit him with something nasty, he could act hurt...he was tough but still human. Current undertaker selling all too often begins and ends with "lay motionless"

Biker Taker was awesome, but he had WAY too many nicknames... (Big Evil, Red Devil, Deadman Inc., Booger Red...)
I don't mind if he keeps the hybrid look he's got now, but I'd love him to go back to the old Big Evil style of promo.

I started watching wrestling during the days of ABA Undertaker, so that's the one I identify with the most. I really liked his brief Undisputed Title run, and his program with Brock Lesnar.

ABA's heel turn was the 2nd worst, I was near tears at the time, I actually cried when Kurt Angle joined the Alliance.
