As we all remember Edge cashed in his Money In The Bank title shot at New Years Revolution 2006 and beat John Cena for the WWE Championship. In your opinion, which was the biggest sign that it was happening?
He had 3 months left to use it: It was January 8. He had until April 2 to use it and WrestleMania was pretty much set to go with Cena vs HHH.
The Instant Axxess Room Comment: A little remembered noogat saw Edge and Lita enter the Instant Axxess room and Edge tell Lita to do the interview because he had to take care of something.
John Cena starting the Elimination Chamber: Cena and Michaels started it off and they were the two favorites to win it all.
Four Minutes Between Chambers: There was still a good 35-40 minutes left of air time, so why else would they go from 5 minutes to 4?
The "I'm gonna lose" face: Popularlized by The Undertaker, Cena didn't have his normal gusto as he went to the ring and a facial expression like he couldn't believe it was coming to an end.
"No Chance...That's what ya got...": In case all the other clues didn't make ya think, obviously you knew something was up when Vince's entrance theme hit.
Other: Something I may have forgotten. Or just the fact that you didn't watch the ppv.
I didnt see the PPV so I didnt see it coming obviously. I think some good foreshadowing was Edge getting himself DQed against Flair, showing he didnt care about the IC title.
Yeah though, one of my favorite WWE moments of all time. I had been waiting for Edge to win the title for a long time and it finally happened...
I didn't see it, but I do remember reading the results on Wrestlezone.com. When it said new champions in the title of the results article, I had assumed Mickie beat Trish. As I scrolled down I saw that both Flair and Trish retained. I then assumed Angle won the WWE Title. As I read the results, I was shocked that Angle went out first, and assumed Michaels must have won it. When I saw that he was gone too, I was just confused. When I saw that Cena won the chamber match I was relieved(because Masters didn't win), saddened(because Carlito didn't win), and still confused(because it said "new champions" but Cena won the match). Then I scrolled down, and began marking out like a 5 year old at "Barney On Ice". "Edge defeated John Cena to win the WWE Title". I was then able to go to bed happy.

I love that video, I honestly consider that one of the greatest WWE moments ever... I honestly believe that is up there with Rock throwing Austin in the river, the Austin beer truck and the great Bret screwed Bret promo.

Asking for a friend.
I’ve started making videos following my journey to get better.
What makes that video so incredible is the crowd reaction. Not that the superheel was getting cheered wildly, but you can tell by the reaction that the crowd didn't think there was any guarantee Edge was going to win this. That's how ridiculous Cena was in 2006 kayfabe.
Thinking back, I think I thought there was a good possibility of it happeneing. But I was still caught off guard when Vince came out. Needless to say, I knew what was coming next.
I also really freaked out when Cena kicked out of the first spear.
I just wish the WWE would fully make up their minds with Edge and decide to just let him GO and get behind him as a world champion. It feels like they're doing that now, but it would be nice to know that he's fully secured his top spot.
On wwe.com it said that edge was cashing in his money in the bank
When did it say that? If it was before the show, then they spoiled it right then and there. However, if it was up just before or right when Edge came out, then it doesn't count.
I'm not calling you a liar or anything, I just think you might be confusing this with when he won the World Title from Undertaker, which was announced on wwe.com while it was happening.
