Replacing AmDrag with Adam Pearce has taken my intrest in the match from YES! to meh...
But it's for the best. Danielson is one of the sports best and I would hate to see his career cut short.

Totally pulling for Pearce now. If just to hear the promo he cuts after it's over.

Dammit, just postpone the match! We've gone 3 months without a champ, let's not wait any longer!

Go, Repo Man, go!
Meh, scrub that. Lets go Albright *clapclap clapclapclap*
Tis a great shame. I was pumped for this match. But hey, what can you do? I'd rather see Danielson and Albright meet at a later date in ROH than have Danielson endanger his career. He is only what...25 (or thereabouts) after all.

I like Scrap Iron, and he's been in most of the major NWA shows this year. I think putting the title on a guy who travels to the different NWA regions anyways would be good for the title.

Danielson's out due to an eye injury, it's down to Albright vs. Pearce.

AMERICAN DRAGON BRYAN DANIELSON WILL WORK THE NWA TITLE FINAL AS A SPECIAL REFEREE by Dave Scherer @ 10:09:04 AM on 8/31/2007 The NWA sent out the following press release: Charlotte, NC (August 30, 2007) – Since the announcement of “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce replacing “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson in the NWA™ Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match against “Shooter” Brent Albright this Saturday in Puerto Rico, there has been major concern from everyone with the National Wrestling Alliance® regarding “Scrap Iron’s” long time Manager C. Edward Vanderpyle. The NWA™ Members/Promoters are so concerned that the board held an emergency Board Meeting was held last night and the decision was made to appoint Danielson as a Special Enforcer Referee to prevent any interference. “The Danielson decision was an easy one to make. I have seen Pearce win many matches because of his Manager, but not this time, not in Puerto Rico” said NWA™ Director Dave Republic. When reached for comment this morning, Danielson was very pleased with the decision and made this statement: “I am very excited to be allowed to participate in the finals. I had a great time over the past few month fighting in this tournament and I so wanted to win the NWA™ Worlds Championship in Puerto Rico. But, do you know what? I will do the best of my ability to keep order, be fair and uphold the respect that the title deserves. Also, I want to wish both Brent and Adam much luck because when I return to a full schedule I will be the first man knocking on their door. Dig that!” NWA™ Executive Director Robert K. Trobich summarized his take on the decision; “ I’m pleased that the Directors made this decision to add Danielson as the Special Enforcer Referee and I know that he will do a good job keeping everything clean. Additionally, I am pleased that “Dragon” was cleared to come to Puerto Rico, he deservers to be a part of this history making event and I for one can’t wait for his full medical release and become active in the ring again.” For additional news and information please visit www.nwawrestling.com.

Does anyone have ANY idea what the schmook's going on down there in Puerto Rico? It's, like, midnight there or something, isn't it?
