Has anyone downloaded the game onto their computer? I just got it recently, & I'm surprised how great it looks and plays on my pc. If you want to get it on your computer, a guy on youtube was nice enough to type in the steps to get the game and any other arcade games.
Step 1. Download Mame32v0.90(mame32u901) or another version of mame32 it's much easier to run you don't have to type in commands just point & click. Step 2. Once you download it unzip or extract the file.Step 3. Then download the roms you want(DON'T unzip the roms).Step 4. Put the roms you downloaded in the folder called roms.Click on the icon of an arcade machine that says mame32 next to it and you'll see a long list of games, go to the game you downloaded and click.

I have this on my PC and it is outstanding as the above poster states. I also downloaded WWF Superstars (also very good) and Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game (poor sound quality, at least for me). Saturday Night Slam Masters is another good wrestling aracade game you should scope out.

I remember a while back that there was someone working on a mod for Wrestlefest to include other wrestlers. Not sure what happened to it.
I spent plenty of quarters on this game and I was excited to finally get to play it w/o plunking down $5 in quarters to reach the main event!
I only wish the roster was bigger and included tag teams such as the Hart Foundation and Rockers and also a big omission was Macho Man Randy Savage.

I bought a USB adapter for my ps2 controller so I could play WWF Wrestlefest. It's awesome.

Yeah... it's awesome. I can also recommend Exciting Hour... seriously, it's ancient but great fun to play.

There's a cheat that will allow you to play as the Legion of Doom, who were originally meant to be playable but were taken out at the last minute.
Why?
Because of the Doomsday Device. If you go to perform a special and are not in the right place, Animal will hold the opponent up on his shoulders with no end in sight. The designers couldn't fix the glitch, so they just took it out.
It took me several tries, but finally getting a Doomsday Device off was awesome...

How do you setup for the Doomsday Device? Or the Demolition tag finisher, where one of the members performs a backbreaker, and holding the opponent in that position, the other member of Demolition will drop an elbow from the top rope. I can't recall if this move was performed in Wrestlefest or not.

I can't recall if this move was performed in Wrestlefest or not. The Demolition move isn't in the game, but to hit the Doomsday Device you need to be Animal and perform a move as normal when the opponent's energy is low and Animal will lift up the guy onto his shoulders. If you're in the right spot, Hawk will climb the turnbuckle and hit the Device... www.gamefaqs.com/coinop/arcade/file/563214/1307

It is the greatest old school game of all time... I still search out malls that have it in their arcades... Surprisingly, some malls around here still carry them.

I probably spent hundreds of dollars playing these arcade games, WWF Superstars WWF Wrestlefest The Simpsons X-Men (the dual-screen version where I believe up to six players could play simultaneously) Batman (arcade game based on the Tim Burton 1989 movie) Spider-Man (& Friends; where you can play as Spidey or Sub-Mariner, Black Cat or Hawkeye) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (original arcade game) Street Fighter II Champion Edition
BTW, has anyone ever played the WWF arcade game that came out around 2000? I saw it at an arcade in Vegas at the Luxor but didn't play it. The Rock, Kurt Angle (with hair), Tazz and Jericho were some of the selectable wrestlers among many others. I think the name of the game was WWF Royal Rumble, not exactly sure. Was wondering if anyone played it and enjoyed the game.
There was also WWF WrestleMania Arcade which I absolutely hated.

The game El Dandy is referring to is Royal Rumble which either was a port from the Dreamcast or vice versa.
Getting back to Wrestlefest, how do you play as LOD?

That Royal Rumble game was at a place called Boomers about 30 minutes from my house.
It was pretty cool. You could actually have 30 people come in the ring for the Royal Rumble. Too bad the arcade game had a time limit where you had to eliminate people or else it'd be game over. I was trying to pull a McMahon and just eliminate the last guy.

Yeah, the actual Royal Rumble was good. It's where the rest of the game comes in that it sucks.
