I wasn't that impressed with it, TBH. Although, I will say the one guy who stood out to me was McGuiness, he looks like a legit badass, and I hope he takes the title from that fat asian girl. Speaking of fat asian girls, Morishima did nothing for me. Mind you, this is really all of ROH I've seen -- this video wire. He doesn't look particularily stiff to me, and how many Rikishi ass bombs is he gonna pull per match? He did have a nice sidekick, but that was really it. But McGuiness? This is a guy I hated just a few days ago, but I'm loving him now. I wanna see him beat the crap outta the fruitest white bread wrestler in the world, Danielson. He fights pretty stiff and in a more "MMA" manner. If he's what European wrestling is about, I can get into it. He just looks legit. Well...keep in mind that almost all Nigel does is stiff lariats, these days. He certainly does more lariats than Morishima does ass attacks. I...really fail to see how Nigel is "more MMA." If anything, I think Nigel has an appeal almost like a stiff version of Hulk Hogan - fiery, with an awesomely cheesy moveset. Also, his style isn't representative of European wrestling - he's moved away from the goofy wristlockery that defines that style. If you want MMA style, you certaily get that from the "fruitiest white bread wrestler in the world," as you put it. Or Rocky Romero, who mixes faux-MMA with lucha. I can certainly understand being underwhelmed by Morishima - it took me a long while to warm to the guy. Generally, he's not a wrestler that you watch in a highlight reel - he does a lot of lariats, punches to the face, three or four different ass-based moves, a few miscellaneous power moves, a missile dropkick, and his finisher. Rather, Morishima relies on his skill as a storyteller in the ring, able to convey a balance of power and vulnerability through selective selling. He plays a good Goliath to the various Davids ROH has to offer. I really hope this didn't come across as snobby, just trying to be informative.

Morishima's strikes don't sound as sharp as Samoa Joe's, his submissions don't look as excruciating as Danielson's, his lariats don't feel as stiff as Nigel's...and yet I buy him as perhaps the biggest monster in ROH history, sans Joe, and it's mostly thanks to his presence in the ring and his storytelling abilities. The guy knows what's up in the ring, and deserves the hype this title run has been giving him.
