I'm 90% sure it was White Stripes. Or at least a good knock-off band. And I tried google.

I am done searching for now. I'm waiting until I regain control of the TV(at least 2 hours from now) so I can rewatch the PPV and get a better idea of what song was used.

Or ask if you can look for it during a commercial

OK. Now I feel really stupid, because I found the name of that song and its not a white stripes song. Its Wolfmother's "Dimension". Did I mention that I feel stupid?

That PPV was f***ing awesome.
Nigel/AmDrag, It wasn't the end all to be all, but it was very damn good. Crazy final sequence with a white hot crowd.
Everything else served it's purpose.
And yes, the 3rd PPV is officially titled "Man Up". They ran an ad for it at the end of the final match.

411mania's review for Driven is in and it's quite positive. JD Dunn has declared it the PPV of the year, better than WM23 and Backlash 07. The opening Six Man got 4 stars, Claudio-Sydal got 3 1/2, Whitmer-Marifuji got 3, Albright-Pelle got 1/2 (not surprising), Briscoes-Steenerico got 3 3/4, Shima-Rave got 2, and the Danielson-Nigel match got 4 3/4 and their Match of the Year so far (despite Briscoes-MCMG getting 5 earlier in the year).
Edit: Meltzer gave Dragon-Nigel 4 1/2 stars, which may in fact be the crime of the century.

Ok, so I'm watching the PPV. I've never seen an ROH show before other than a few Raven vs Punk matches. This is my first time seeing a lot of these guys wrestle before too. I'm jotting these notes as I watch. Double duh for spoilers.
No Remorse Corps of Roderick Strong, Davey Richards & Rocky Romero vs. Delirious, Erick Stevens & Matt Cross
-Erik Stevens has a killer mohawk
-No Remorse Corps don't really have much of a look other than maybe Rocky Romero.
-That flippy dive thing Cross did was nuts. Backbreaker on the apron was CUH-RAZY.
-Good fast pace stuff. All of these guys seemed pretty talented. Reminded me of an old style ECW match. Matt Cross is a high flyer of the highest magnitude.
-Whoa @ Shaggy Austin Aries in jeans.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Matt Sydal in a state-of-the-art bout! (CYBORGS AND ROBOTS!)
-Ah so that's how you pronounce "Castagnoli". Dood's tall.
-Huh. First time I've seen someone go a Giant Swing and make it look remotely effective.
-Whoa. Crazy flippy head scissor thing from Cydal.
-Not a bad mesh of styles.
-Larry Sweeney(sp?) sounds like a Roddy Piper.
- ..Overweight Silver Potato Super Crazy?
BJ Whitmer vs. Naomichi Marufuji in a true battle!!!!!!!!! (added "!"'s)
-Not...even...going to try to pronounce this guy's name.
-Thanks for clearing up who is who and announcer guy . I really thought the Japanese guy might have been BJ Whitmer.
-Meh. Can't say I was terribly into that one. BJ Whitmer does nothing for me.
-Brent Albright vs. Pelle Primeau in a brutal fight! BREW-TAL.
-Ok. Brent Albright. I'm familiar with him. ..Or..not. Looks like the grim reaper now. Pretty cool though. I'm going to guess this is not going to go well for Pelle.
-Yeeeeep. That was a quick one. I really liked Brent's feud with Punk in OVW. He looks way more confident now. Bigger too. But I don't think that's hard when your wrestling Double P.
-As a note, ROH has a way better choice in music selection than TNA or WWE.
-Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico for the ROH World Tag Team Titles!
-Jeezum crow. The Briscoe's are not pretty men.
-Ow. Nasty kicks on Kevin Steen.
-I'm not really feeling Generico but Steen seems pretty decent. He seems to have kuh-raz-muh but needs a little more of a look.
-EEP. Yikes at Generico being chucked into the fourth row.
-Whoa, I'm really impressed with Steen.
-Really good match. Despite being possibly the ugliest humans on the planet, The Briscoe's are a very fluent tag team.
-COOKIE FOR ME
Takeshi Morishima vs. Jimmy Rave for the ROH World Title!
-Morishima is a large scary man with beautiful girl hair.
-Whoa. That was a uber quick one. Giant. Scary. Man.
-Adam Pearce. Satan?
-Nigel McGuinness vs. Bryan Danielson in a match you need to witness for yourself with your own eyes! Or someone else's
- FINAL COUNTDOWN. Greatest choice for an entrance theme ever?
-Ok, the net seems to very much fap over these two so I wanna see what the fuss is.
-Huh. Very technical, almost UFC-ish.
-Um. OW. OW. Crazy submission by Nigel.
-Hey I think I saw like two girls in the crowd.
-Ok, I remember seeing Nigel's rebound lariat stuff. Still think it looks completely dumb.
-This match has a little bit of everything it seems.
-Hey. What'dya know. That was a really good match.
So..I was pretty entertained. ROH has a good product. Definitely like seeing something other than the kinda dull WWE style of wrasslin. I think I saw at least one move I've never seen before in every match. Kudos.

I am still not digging Nigel"The Lariat" McGuiness. Although he was pulling out more technical stuff last night which i liked. Some of his strikes look weak. His lariat is good. but about 10 a match is a little much.

It was my favorite PPV of the year, as well. It ranks above RIE, WM23, RR07, and Destination X 07.

Awesome show. Probably my fave ppv of the year. This was a big improvement over the last one (I liked RIE and got my money's worth, but I just didn't think it showed ROH at its full potential)
The opening was off the charts. The crazy spots and the Aries return showed off a hot crowd to new viewers.
Double C and Sydal's size differece worked very well. I hope to see Matt do well in WWE and Claudio is, as always, the man(...except when it comes to Sweeny)
Marifuji and BJ was also good and Albright looked strong in his match.
The tag match was something else. The Briscoes are top notch and even though I havent seen much of Steen/Generico, I was greatly impressed with them (even though Steen looks like Turtle from Entourage)
Nigel and Danielson was just f***ing incredible. I'm not sure how I would rate it compared to their unified match, but this was a great way to end the PPV.
All in all, the show gets two thumbs up. Im not sure how well the first PPV did, but I hope the positive buzz from this show gets it a good buyrate and garners some new interest.

Funny minor noticeable flaw: (You're gonna have to forgive me, drunk and can't remember the guy's name...) In the scene where the fat guy is working out on the ab machine, using no hands trying to get the chocolate bar, did anyone notice how much weight he was lifting?
Nothing. Seriously, the weight is set at the top.

Seriously, the weight is set at the top. That was the joke. Sweeny said, something along the lines of "here, we'll even give you less weight"

I'm f***ing pumped for this show, also my first wrestling PPV ( ). Curious though, how much is there in terms of promos/non wrestling?

there are 4 hype vids, I believe(One showing Highlights from the last show, one showing footage from the Japan shows, one hyping ROHwrestling.com, and a Jimmy Rave vid), and a backstage segment with S&S INC. Also, Aries gives an in-ring promo. I think thats it.

So, how many minutes is that total (I ask because my dad may watch with me and he's generally not into wrestling [It being scripted], and he may be converted with this show)?
