So based on what we know at the moment 1 of those guys is going to be #1 contender for Stings first title defense.
Of course the second they get the #1 slot they could lose it to *fill in the blank* due to some match stipulation on Impact, but if any of those 9 guys do go up against Sting at Genesis who should it be?

I voted James Storm. I don't think Rikishi, Roode, Kaz, or Lance Hoyt deserve it in the first place. Considering fans would most likely boo Sting if he faces Shelley or Sabin, I don't see them winning. Thus leaving Roode and Storm with Storm being more entertaining and not in the middle of a feud currently.
Oh yeah, and I don't think Nash should get in the ring in the first place. Does TNA want him to tear a quad while walking across the ring???

Storm. Hes been on the cusp of the main event for a while now after his great feuds with Harris and Rhino. Hes a good worker, has great music, has a good character, can talk, has a very good womens wrestler as a valet, seriously. Storm.

Well seeing how Nash, can't go a full match let alone a mainevent. I see some sort of triple threat match. With Sting vs. Nash vs. Angle. Or throw Jarrett in there and make it a fatal fourway.

These are the eight people in the #1 contenders tournament that will take place on Impact. And Kevin Nash. Who is the joke answer, I assume.

I guess James Storm. What happened to Chris Harris? I'm sorry but they should team again cause i'm not that impressed with them as singles. But I might be alone in thinking that.

It's really a toss up between James Storm and Robert Roode for me, but I ultimately picked Robert Roode.

James Storm should not only be #1 contender, but he should win the freaking title. Guy is off the charts.

Of the 8, definitely James Storm. They might wind up being stupid and giving it to Jr. Fatu though.

I thought Eric Young won the match for the number one contender spot?

I don't see who "should" be but out of those 8, Storm.

I thought Eric Young won the match for the number one contender spot? Young won the match and earned the first seed. It's Young v. Storm, Roode v. Fatu, Shelley v. Sabin, and Hoyt v. Kaz.

I think you should've included the following option:
"The one man most will agree should NOT be #1 contender."

James Storm would be awesome as hell, great mic work, good character, and he's a homegrown guy that just fits into their redneck demographic.
I'd love him to be champ before Joe. Seriously Storm for contender
i'm really still confused as to what the hell that battle royal accomplished besides getting guys on the PPV
