Since the beginning of taped shows.
I thought it was hilarious for the Tomko/AJ match where the crowd seems to be going crazy with the chants yet they were sorta just watching the match.

Smackdown does the same thing. Perhaps, but they at least have editors who know what the hell they're doing to where it's not freakishly obvious.

I don't care what anyone says about the booking, the editing is easily the worst part of TNA.

They always do the "crowd is clapping to rally a guy out of sleeper" sound when the crowd is clearly giving the match blank stares. Oh and the "DING!" sound whenever someone gets hit with a ring bell.

I'm bi, and I still don't think focusing on the ass of a guy when he's leaving after a tag or coming in makes any sense. It's not even Fatu, where you could argue that they are doing it to play up the ass.

Smackdown does the same thing. so it's ok then? I want to have fun watching impact, not making up excuses as to why something is bad, and being ok with problems because the competition makes the same mistakes.

And then there's the times when the crowd does actually make some noise and you feel like hurting something.

Another thing they'll do is show wrestlers setting up for a move... and then randomly cut to something else... and then cut back after the fact... that and the random half screen of unimportant things, annoy the hell out of me...

The awkward zoom ins, camera angles, filming, random cutaways, really is what makes TNA look second rate.
they have 3 days to edit the show, and choose that shoddy product.
hell it's even more apparrent during ppv's.
the only PPV that has good camera work is Lock DOwn

A lot of the camera shots, along with the announcing, actually make me feel dizzy and ill.

I personally couldn't care less about the canned noise or editing, it doesn't take anything away from the show. Must we over criticize even the smallest details?

Frankly the Editing makes me wonder if Uwe Boll moonlights as the production lead for TNA.

It's not even Fatu, where you could argue that they are doing it to play up the ass. Great, now I'm picturing some production guy going ballistic, screaming "Camera 12 damn it, we need that ass shot NOW!" Far as canned noise goes, it's been done for a long time, and has always been something that makes me laugh when its done poorly (WCW inlatter days was terrible for it). I've had friends that refuse to watch indy shows because "the low production values suck" get mad when I point out an obvious production glitch with canned noise. If there's an audible pop, and the crowd is obviously sitting on their hands, that's bad regardless of who does it.
