I'm willing to give TNA the benefit of the doubt, as I'd like to see how this week's show sets up the one on the 20th, but still, Booker and Steiner teaming could be an interesting main event on PPV, and they're wasting it.

So they managed to have a ladder match, a cage match, a "... on a pole" match, and a 4 way hardcore match all on one Impact, on free TV? Wow. And who wants to bet that Abyss takes another bump on glass shards?

I just noticed, No Kurt Angle? and No Christian? Along with no Nash or Tomko. Yeah not having your world champion or one half of your tag champs on makes complete sense.

I just noticed, No Kurt Angle? and No Christian? Angle Family Christmas? *spoiler for this week* Plus, doesn't urt and his gang beat the hell outta Christian to end iMPACT!? That could explain him not being on.

I think Russo just gets a hardon for AJ in a animal suit, the second match of its type in the past month, with no build.... so dumb words fail to describe

Maybe, as I remember that happened to J.R in 1996 when he was bringing back "Razor and Diesel" and his mic would cut off. And I remember when BG and Kip would have this happen and then they came back and declared war on the WWE.

This reads like a really strange show but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned yet in future we get to see Brother Ray in an Ultimate X match. I'm looking forward to seeing him try to go across the cables in that one.

I feel like I'm one of the only true TNA fans left around here, but even I think that this Impact is ridiculous. There is absolutely no reason at all to have this many gimmick matches on TV with no buildup. I'm loving the Dudleyz/Machine Guns storyline...but there are so many gimmicks. Give it a rest.

As long as they hype it as a night of gimmick matches before hand (with some witty holiday play on words), I'm fine with it. If not, then it's kinda weird.

I totally agree, also Final Resolution is not too far away and what will the main event be? I mean it seems like they are building Angle vs Christian but whats up with them not being on the show? Oh and another ladder match? And AJ in another animal suit? Whats that about? And what the hell are doing with Joe? This smells like how Russo booked Goldberg in WCW. I mean Impact has been really good lately but this seems like utter shit! Excluding ironically the pole match which will give us Team 3D in a Ultimate X Match which would be hilarious.

They could use the steel structure they used for the 10 man UX Gauntlet, I suppose.
