December 28th: It all goes down starting tomorrow (Saturday) at the Manhattan Center on 311 West 34th St. in New York, NY with a zip code of 10001. This is just one block from Madison Square Garden. Saturday's pay-per-view taping has a 7:30pm belltime. Sunday's "Final Battle 2007" card has a special 5pm start time. There will be tickets available at the door on both nights. It will be a big weekend for ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay & Mark Briscoe. They will face Roderick Strong & Rocky Romero in a 2/3 Falls Match at the PPV taping on Saturday. Both these teams have already stated that they will pull out all the stops on PPV. The Briscoes currently have an eight fall streak in 2/3 Fall Matches and are 4-0 on PPV. Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black will be watching Saturday's match closely. If The Briscoes retain the titles it will be Jacobs & Black teaming for the first time vs. The Briscoes for the belts on Sunday. If The Briscoes don't retain the belt, you will witness a fight between these two teams on Sunday. Either way, this weekend will be a true test for the ROH World Tag Team Champions. This will be a weekend that no Briscoe fan will want to miss. Get your tickets at the door for both cards.
December 28th: FIP is getting ready to be "Redefined" with the relaunch on February 16th in Crystal River, FL. Erick Stevens would love nothing more than to walk into Crystal River as FIP World Heavyweight Champion. Stevens will get his shot at the title against Champion Roderick Strong this Sunday in Manhattan. It is always a hard-hitting battle when these two slug it out. They both want to prove that they are the best wrestler out of Florida. This is a rematch from the "Man Up" pay-per-view. Can Strong back up his claim of being the best champion in ROH?
December 26th: There will be top quality matches added to both Saturday and Sunday's cards on the day of the show. Naomichi Marufuji will be against top talent on both cards. The Nigel McGuinness/Austin Aries loser will also be against a top talent on Sunday. There is no telling what will happen at a ROH PPV taping. ROH only brings the best to New York City!!!

December 28th: It looks like we have an answer as to why at least one of the special guests is coming to Manhattan this weekend. MMA star Daniel Puder wrote on his Myspace page that he is coming to Manhattan as a fan to see ROH live. Check it out at: blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog&friendID=4582964

The "Man Up" double DVD with limited edition packaging will be released this weekend in Manhattan. "If you are looking for a faster paced, more realistic alternative to WWE or even TNA, ROH is where you should be looking. ROH Man Up provided death defying stunts, great wrestling, amazing high spots, with great easy to follow booking and story telling....ROH isn’t Sports Entertainment, ROH is an Entertaining Sport; ROH is WRESTLING!" - Former WWE, WCW & ECW Tag Team Champion Lance Storm at Stormwrestling.com
December 28th: Austin Aries has spent extra time in the gym and sparring in preparation for his World Title Match against Nigel McGuinness at the PPV taping tomorrow night. Aries is approaching this as the biggest match of his career. This is Aries chance to main event a pay-per-view and win the ROH World Title for a record setting second time. Aries has heard what his critics have said about him. There are those that don't think that he can carry the main event of a PPV. Now Aries is out to prove them all wrong tomorrow night at the Manhattan Center.
December 28th: Meanwhile, ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness is on his way back from England where he spent the holidays with his family. McGuinness reports that his left bicep is feeling great. You still have to wonder how it will hold up when he hits that first lariat. McGuinness has been working on more ways to get into his new, effective arm submission. He was also working out with the heavy bag practicing a right armed lariat. McGuinness says that his reign as World Champion is just beginning.
December 28th: Whoever wins the Aries vs. McGuinness PPV bout will see the weekend only get harder for them on Sunday. The World Champion will put the belt on the line in a Four Way Elimination Match with Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima vs. Chris Hero. This is only the second time the World Title has been defended in a bout like this. Morishima figures to be a big part of ROH in 2008 and would love nothing more than to regain his place on top of ROH. We all know what the World Title means to Bryan Danielson. Chris Hero is definitely the sleeper pick as he proved at "Survival Of The Fittest 2007" that he knows how to thrive in this kind of match stipulation. Who will walk out of Manhattan and into 2008 as World Champion? Get your tickets for both shows at the door and find out for yourself.
