5 dollars the Aries-McGuinness bout was nowhere near MOTY. 5 dollars saying YOU'RE WROOOOONG! This is Nigel we're talking about. Naw, you're probably right. Decent to very good, but perhaps far from the MOTY tagline that gets tosses around at most ROH shows right away. And I too thought it was Jigsaw who beat Necro, such a shame it wasn't.

How can Aries/McGuinness be a MOTYC when the MOTY has already been announced?
Don't say next year, because it happened this year! Welcome to the void, Aries/McGuinness! Welcome. To. The. Void!
...
I'm tired.

What's the deal with Puder, anyway? All I remember is that he mat-wrestled Angle, and then Guerrero, Benoit, and others were allowed to act like unprofessional babies and beat the crap out of him on television. None of this seems to me to be a reason to despise him. Why's he so hated?

I saw elsewhere that ROH will be back in Manhatten on February 23rd (a Saturday with Deer Park the night before) for the Sixth Anniversary Show (six years to the date after Era of Honor Begins).

so, has ROH officially changed to Sat/Sun double shots instead of Fri/Sat double shots? If so, that would be cool, because it'd make Triple's easier Fri/Sat/Sun instead of the WM triple in 06, where it was Thurs/Fri/Sat.

I was there tonight, Aries/McGuinness wasn't MOTYC, but it was pretty darn good nonetheless. Although people were pissed it didn't go down with a clean cut pinfall victory, Morishima/Danielson had crazy heat, and the ending made Morishima look downright insane. I've got my tickets for the 6 Year Anniversary, looking forward to it.
Solid show tonight, not better than MM2, but good.

Just a one time thing for now. The next three doubleshots are Fri/Sat.

Has anybody from the boards been to the show? I read Daniel Puder and Bushwhacker Luke and automatically think greatest ROH show ever. Can anybody dispell this.

I didn't think it was as good as everyone says it is, maybe my expectations were way too high for it being a PPV taping, but it did not at all live up to my expectations!

It continues my feeling on that ROH is losing it. This was my 6th show, and the worst by far. I think PPV has REALLY hurt ROH. Family friendly? Really? There just seemed like alot of, I dont know. It just felt like a "wrestling" card. Not really what makes ROH ROH.
The promos feel forced. The matches were boring, predictable, and lacked the usual ROH flair. Even the Briscoes match put everyone to sleep. Thats NEVER happened. My favorite match I ever saw was Briscoes vs Strong and Evans. This had one replacement in the match and was just...boring.
Maybe its just a transition time. But it just felt, disjointed.
