EXCUSE ME!!! British Wrestling in te 70s/80s wasnt that bad actually, especially for the time, most brits over a certain age say its better than WWE will ever be. Itsa like soeme one inducting the glory days of NWA it was a different time! It was the actual wrestling it's self sure had some good to decent stuff but most of it was awful (Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy are the equivalent to Great Kahli in WWE nowadays and everyone thought they were great wrestlers). It was boring as hell. It also had a great following of middle age to old women for some bizarre reason also who all thought it was real. i have to disagree, my dad, my uni tutor , my mother, and most people around that age loved it.a nd there not even middle aged yet. And they new it was all theatrics. We wouldnt have Regal, Finlay, Dynamite Kid or even Loch Ness if this never happened. its like watching an old Ric Flair or Andre the giant match and saying its crap because its not as exciting as today

OK we'll have to agree to disagree then. That's the thing about inducting a lot of stuff in the Wrestlecrap Hall Of Fame. Not everyone is going to agree on what should be inducted. something that one person may think is total Wrestlecrap one person may have loved.

Trying to think of some older ones:
Ted DiBiase "buys" Sapphire Man Mountain Rock Wrestlemania XI: Worst Mania Ever. Jake Roberts Falls Off the Wagon (1996 angle with Jerry Lawler) Parents Television Council Campaigns to Stop WWF

Parents Television Council Campaigns to Stop WWF This was real life rather than a wrestling angle or storyline so don't think this would count Some more I thought of Wrestlemania 11- The worst Wrestlemania ever and it was MUCH WORSE that Wrestlemania 9 (if it's not been already). The DX angle with McMahons in 2006 (infact just the whole DX 2006) Stone Cold loves Mr McMahon angle Mark Henry/Mae Young angle (if it's not been already) The Kennel From Hell Match- It would have been fine if the dogs weren't on leashes which took the whole kayfabe idea out of the match Zues The Undertaker VS Undertaker Van Halen- A wrestler trying to bring peace to the WCW 'Adorable' Adrain Adonis- 70's wrestling legand becomes joke under McMahon in the 80's Ed Leslie's many (failed) gimmicks Al Snow's many failed gimmicks (including a 80's gimmick 10 years out of date in the form of The New Rockers Leif Cassidy and Avatar) The Juice (Juventuied Guerra thinks he's The Rock in WCW)

Why all the hate for Mr. Bob Backlund? I thought his heel stuff from 1993-1995 was some of the best stuff from a heel ever I loved and yes it was ridiculous but that was the point and he was a guy who was so destroyed that he lost a title he felt that he never deserved to lose and that lead to him having a near psychotic breakdown because of it. I'm pushing to have him inducted, but it's certainly not because of hate for the character. I loved the gimmick. I enjoyed watching him and listening to his rants. I'd love to see him inducted because it would be an opportunity to relive the memories with humorous commentary by RD (and hopefully a screenshot of Mr. Backlund demonstrating his criminal branding idea by holding a metal ring on his forehead with a crazed look on his face). I visit this site because I think true Wrestlecrap is what makes wrestling worth watching and I want to see more of it. Mantaur, Repo Man, Who, Papa Shango, Mr. Bob Backlund...this is what I want to watch and read about. If I hated Wrestlecrap, I would do my best to stay away from the site.

That's partly why I visit and post here also. Wrestlecrap in my opinion should be stuff so bad it's actually good and entertaining to watch.

Yeah this is what I was getting at the 'World Of Sport' ITV days. With Big Daddy broken down getting pushed to the moon and Giant Haystacks (loch Ness in the WCW) being pushed as there top star. Even although he had no clue how too wrestle.

OK a few more
1 Hacksaw Jim Duggan Canadian hero days 2 Heel Sting- wasn't so much Wrestlecrap.Just crap in the fact that the fans would never except Sting as a heel 3 The Eli Blu twins- Two rough hairy mountain men as Vince McMahon described them. Unfortunately the Harris twins did go from bad gimmick to bad gimmick and never got anywhere (DOA and Harris twins in late WCW included) 4 David Arquette (if he's not been already) in WCW and WCW Champion 5 NWO Wolfpac- A face NWO stable just took the whole idea and concept out of the NWO angle and made WCW everything NWO. Also Sting was an angry crab at that time as well (red face paint) 6 Jeff Jarrett tried to take over Nashville with the help of signing country songs in the WWF 7 Dean Douglas- The original Matt stryker in WWF in 1995. No other than Shane Douglas 8 The Buried Alive match it's self- Burring an opponent alive is fair game and wrestlecrap enough when you think about it. but when said 'buried alive wrestler' comes back only a few months later to exact his revenge for being buried alive the common sense to this match and concept actually hurts to think about or try to work out 9 L.T VS Bam Bam Bigalow- Headline Wrestlemnia 11 (including in a backstage interview Steve McMicheal calling King Kong Bundy baby doll and some other NFL player calling some other member of the Million Dollar Corporation a cream puff) 10 Kane falls in love and X-Pac steals his girlfriend Tori- Just coming out of his monster heel run and destroying the Kane character in 1999 X-Pac teaches Kane how to be more human and have feelings and he falls in love.

MORDECAI! I remember him!
I also remember him and Bob Holly randomly fighting. This was the excuse they had for having a match at Great American Bash.

All-Star Wrestling out of Vancouver:
*The promoter (Al Tomko, an out-of-shape fifty-something wrestler) booked himself as a Master Sargeant and as the top wrestler; *Tomko's tag partner.....a forty-something Hawaiian named Dean Ho (not to be confused with the singer Don Ho); *After Tomko finally retired, the organization's biggest star was.....his son, a 150-pound weakling with no talent, charisma or mic skills; *King Kong J.R. Bundy.....who later became King Kong J.R. Superstar Bundy. And, you guessed it, he was large, bald, wore a black singlet, and did everything that the real King Kong Bundy did in the ring; *"Mr. Macho" Diamond Timothy Flowers who, you guessed it, ripped off Randy Savage (although his robes and headbands looked to be paper-cheap); *The Atomic Kid, a 5-foot-nothing wrestler named Buddy Wayne who, you guessed it, ripped off the Dynamite Kid (but wore a mask while doing it); *The Frog.....a small blonde guy with a croaky voice, and the tag partner of Tomko's son; *The Teddy Boys, a heel tag team that tried to be tough and mean, but carried around teddy bears; *Susie Tanner, a female wrestler who became the valet and mouthpiece for the Teddy Boys.....even though her delivery was wooden and monotone; *"Rambo" Mike Edwards, a 300-plus-pound referee who, according to the announcer, was tired of the heels' dastardly deeds and decided to become a wrestler to stop them. Yes, he came to the ring in full Rambo gear; *Ed Karl, possibly the worst wrestling announcer ever. During ringside interviews, he'd hold the mic up to the wrestler while shifting quick and very goofy looks from the wrestler to the camera to the wrestler to the camera.....; *Bernie Pascal, the tv station's News Hour sports anchor who somehow got roped into covering for Ed Karl when Mr. Karl wasn't available. Pascal made it quite obvious that he did not like wrestling and did not want to be there. I almost felt sorry for him; *Al Tomko playing the Commissioner, but dubbing himself "Mr. Cool" while wearing outlandishly silly outfits, like sparkly sunglasses and small derby hats; *"Mr. Cool" catching heel manager Gentleman Jonathan Sayers in the act and handing out a fine of a measly $200.00, making Sayers flip out; *An angle where King Kong J.R. Bundy turned face, befriended Tomko's son, then betrayed him when Sayers offered him a whopping sum of $500.00; *Ole Olson, a squat bodybuilder who was not only given a generic Scandinavian name, but was then transformed into Thor, a mirror-image of the superhero.
The only good thing to come out of All Star Wrestling was the fact that this was where John Tenta got his start in the profession.
