I totally forgot about that. That was funny. That episode was too good. "Hello, I'm a british person." "And now i shall release my robot monkeys onto you." "Joe, do you know anything about women?" "Sure, they're those things that got vaginas in 'em" "..." They did NOTHING with the Lice to even make it funny. It was like watching a bad episode of Arrested Development...terrible. I assume you like that show then...my instincts want me to secretly doubt your tastes...but then you have Colt Cabana in your sig...very nice...so now I'm stumped...

It's just awful. From the get-go until the very end, its awful. Oh haha, Cartman's making a racial joke again! Oh haha, his hand is supposed to be Jennifer Lopez! Oh haha, the whole town is buying it! Oh haha, now Ben Affleck is getting made fun of! Oh haha, now Ben Affleck is falling in love with Cartman's hand! Oh haha, now the record industry is trying to get Cartman's hand to sign a record deal! Oh haha, now Cartman's hand turned out to be Mitch Connor! Oh haha, now people are sad that Mitch Connor is gone! Oh haha, it was all one big schtick to make fun of Kyle! HILARIOUS! It's the worst episode ever. Nothing even comes close.* * - Actually, that Bono episode comes close. Its like Parker and Stone screaming "BONO'S A PIECE OF CRAP! GET IT!?!? ITS FUNNY! LAUGH AT IT! HAHA!" Yeah, I'm getting that a lot lately. Instead of writing good episodes, they're relying on "*INSERT CELEB HERE* IS A DOUCHE! WAHAHAHAHAHA!" That can't be denied. Its one of the primary reasons that South Park hasn't been on par with its classic episodes as of late. In fact, this past season, I was sitting there during one of the episodes just waiting for the obligatory celebrity appearance and ensuing mockery of said celebrity. I was stunned when an entire 30-minute episode went by and they didn't rip on a celebrity. The writing has also suffered significantly, because as you watch an episode, you can't help but wait to see if its a parody or if its going to mock a celebrity. Season 11 was the worst season in South Park history, primarily because they did nothing original. Here's a short list of the movies/celebrities they based entire episodes around in one season: The Day After Tomorrow, The Thing, 24, Hillary Clinton, The DaVinci Code, 300, Dawn of the Dead, Chris Hanson, Bono and Katie Couric. I actually looked back season-by-season at South Park, and can tell exactly where the wheels came flying off, and it stopped being straight-up funny and started being all political, holier-than-thou, and up its own ass. Midway through Season Nine. Since "Erection Day", in my opinion, the show just hasn't been very good. Episodes that are the peak of the season ("Guitar Queer-O" and "The List" from Season XI for example) would've been lost in the shuffle in Seasons I through VIII.

Episodes that are the peak of the season ("Guitar Queer-O" and "The List" from Season XI for example) would've been lost in the shuffle in Seasons I through VIII. Actually I found Guitar Queer-O largely unfunny. My roommate and I watched it and laughed maybe...twice (once at the stupidity of Stan asking if Thad could play Jon the Fisherman acoustically, when he probably would've been satisfied with the answer to his first question, which was if he could play "Jordan" by Buckethead which is an obviously much harder song from any aspect, real or virtual. The other laugh was at Randy Marsh being hooked on Heroin Hero and his reactions) It just seemed like the entire buildup of it was to make a gay joke. In fact, that's what a lot of South Park's latter episodes seem to be. Imaginationland was just 90 minutes building up to a gay joke. Almost like "Batman & Robin"

From the few that I've seen, the "Critter Christmas" one had me almost doubled over laughing. Nothing they had done before or since had hit me like that one.

I've noticed that in this thread I've been a real Debbie Downer and that I've basically been negative towards South Park whereas the thread is about our favorite episodes. So therefore, here are some of my personal favorites: Goobacks, Russell Crowe, Losing Edge

I'd have to say the Tourettes episode was amazing. All the random stuff Cartman would say, and then at the end... "Oh No It's Chris Hanson!" (blast)
"OH NO CHRIS HANSON!" (boom)
"THERE'S NO BROWNIES IN HERE!" (BOOOOOOM)

I might be reeled in by its incredible bargains!"

I've been watching the series for years, and I can find something positive about most of the episodes, but the absolute worst was the two part Family Guy one.
Sorry, leave your soapbox out of the show, and don't take two episodes to tell one freaking joke, especially if it's a lame one.
MANATEES? Really? That was the best thing in the writing meeting?
Anyway, best episode for me might be the ninja episode, if nothing else for Butters getting hit in the face with a ninja star.

Ok for ages I couldn't decide which episode of South Park I liked best between Scott Tennorman eats his parents and Cartmans hand turning into J-lo, but i just saw the one where Cartman pretends to tave tourettes and now I think I have a new favourite ever. Who dares defy me? I dare not defy these picks. They really are the best.

MANATEES? Really? That was the best thing in the writing meeting? Sure, why not? Because it wasn't funny? Because it just made South Park look like the idiots, not Family Guy? Because they took an hour to drag to one awful joke, when it didn't call for it at all? Don't get me wrong, Family Guy has had its share of problems lately, but they didn't take an episode to cry about a dispute, much less two. At least when South Park joked about its similarities to Simpsons, and addressed complaints that they "copied them", they did it in a funny way. It's all a matter of opinions, I guess.

I agree with this, much in the way i said it takes them too long to build up to one joke about a subject, this was where it really started. It almost seemed like bullying in a way, going after a show that started after South Park, was cancelled, and had the luck to achieve cult status.
