White Lion. If their guitarist wasn't such a bad-ass I would've totally avoided them. Aw, c'mon, who doesn't love Eco-Metal? And why did Christopher Cross have to be mentioned? Sailing Away was my maternal grandmother's favorinte song, and they played it at her funeral.

Kim Wilde- Kids in America Looking out a dirty old window. Down below, the cars in the city go rushing by. Christ, I can't believe I remember that. And not because of that cover by Len from the Digimon movie, either. I've never listened to that one in it's entirety.

This song was ruined for me when I found out the Dragons' worst relief pitcher (Masafumi Hirai) used it as his entrance theme. As for my favorite cheesy songs: -Europe - The Final Countdown -Both opening songs to G Gundam -The Transformers animated movie soundtrack -The Rocky IV Soundtrack, especially "No Easy Way Out" -Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know It's True (I wanted to freak out my Japanese co-workers by singing this at karaoke. I failed, because all they had was "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You") - And this one. Oh come on, you had to have seen this one coming. ;D

Metropolis - A fantastically cheesy band from Toronto that is (sadly?) best known for supplying the theme song for Friday the 13th Part VIII. Naturally, being a Friday the 13th mark on the side, this was the sole reason I wanted the album to begin with, but there's something about it, I don't know what, that I actually enjoy listening to, and have found myself blasting in my car. Two years ago, I would have kicked my own ass for listening to something like this, but, it's actually pretty damn catchy. And this album was an absolute BITCH to find. I found a total of one website that even had information on it, and I was pretty much shocked when I found that another person on Earth actually had it. It's probably the album in my collection I'm proudest of, in all honesty, due to it's sheer obscurity.

Its the like the PlayStation 1 game in my collection I'm most proudest to own is Silent Bomber by Bandai. Not cuz it's a good game (it is), but because of it's rarity. And speaking of cheesy, that game's voice acting fits the word like a glove, believe me!
