This song was released in the 80's in the UK. It has become a bit of a christmas song (mainly because of it's release around Christmas). It's featured in the film "Say Anything" and I've also heard it played on American Idol. It's called "Keeping the Dream Alive" by a German band called Freiheit. Here's a link to the song. But there is a reason I've posted it (other than the fact I love the song). I'm sure I heard someone say it is used by either a baseball or US football team as a kind of unofficial theme. Anyone have any idea who? Or is this flu that I'm currently laid up with making me imagine things?

Great song but not a one hit wonder. Alphaville also had Big in Japan and a few others that did well.

Transvision Vamp had several hits in the UK. I should know, I had all their albums. Not to mention a bit of a crush on Miss James.

Rick Astley wasn't a 1-hit wonder. Together Forever charted well in the US.

Strange that everyone's using this thread as an excuse to post more 80's one-hit wonders. BUT NO-ONE'S ANSWERED MY BLOODY QUESTION!!!!!! For shame.

It's also used in Say Anything back in 1989 and also with American Idol.
