3-1 in favor of Huey. Before I came to these boards I never knew Huey had such a following.

Huey takes this one with more ease then I expected. I really under estimated him in this tourney. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Will DOA survive this battle? Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Right Round (Like A Record)The music video for the song is cheaply made, very surreal and tells no story, but the visuals are nevertheless fascinatingly strange (such as Pete Burns in a purple kimono, seemingly growing extra arms, or him with the infamous eyepatch; the other three band members tied up in some ribbons; close-ups of a disco ball, etc.). At the end the other three band members wave flags around in circles, and Burns is tied up in a gold ribbon. The 1996 remix video involves Burns posing and lip-synching in various locations and outfits. The 2003 video has only Burns, drummer Steve Coy, and keyboardist Jason Alburey, spinning in gold CGI swirls. Burns once again constantly changes outfits, and is also pictured on a spinning bed. The 1984 Video Directors were Vaughan Arnell and Andrea Benton. Vs. Hall and Oates - Out Of Touch"Out of Touch" is a 1984 song from Daryl Hall and John Oates. This lead single from their 1984 album Big Bam Boom was their final number one, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in December 1984. The song was used in the soundtrack of the popular but controversial video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It is featured on the fictional in-game radio station Flash FM. "Out of Touch" was covered by Uniting Nations in 2004 and was featured on the compilation CDs Summer Hits 2005, Floorfillers Club Classics and Floorfillers 3 amongst others. Uniting Nations' version peaked at #7 on the UK Singles Chart and remained in the Top 75 for twenty-one weeks.

Hall & Oates. Arguably the best R&B duo ever.

Hall & Oates. Arguably the best R&B duo ever. Neck and neck with the Righteous Brothers for best ever Blue-eyed soul duo.

DOA is.................... DOA ----------------------------------------- Reach out and touch me.... with some votes. Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the HeartIt is probably Steinman's most successful commercial composition to date and Bonnie Tyler's most successful song, going to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and number one in Canada, Australia and the UK singles chart. At its peak, it sold 60,000 copies per day, and approximately 5-6 million copies in total, and was number one throughout (almost) the entire world charts according to Bonnie Tyler's greatest hits manual. Tyler's career reached new heights with this release and put her in the history books as the only Welsh artist to hit the number-one slot in the U.S Billboard magazine charts. Steinman had given the song, along with "Making Love (Out of Nothing At All)", to Meat Loaf for his Midnight at the Lost and Found album. However, Meat's record company refused to pay for Steinman and he wrote the songs himself. Steinman's songs were then given to Bonnie Tyler. Vs. Depeche Mode - Personal JesusIn mid-1989, the band began recording in Milan with record producer François Kervorkian. The result of this session was the single "Personal Jesus", which featured a catchy, drum-based sound, radically different from anything the band had released thus far. Prior to its release, advertisements were placed in the personal columns of UK regional newspapers with the words "Your own personal Jesus." Later, the ads included a phone number one could dial to hear the song. The song became a big hit across the world, and is one of Depeche Mode's most successful songs, along with the following single, "Enjoy the Silence". It was the first time the guitar was used as the main instrument on a Depeche Mode song. The single took the world by storm and featured more advertising than usual with Depeche Mode, with magazine ads and a telephone campaign (people could call a number seen on magazine ads that would play the song). In addition, the single was particularly successful commercially thanks to the fact that it was released six months prior to the album it would later appear on. Up to that point, it was the best selling 12" single in Warner Brothers history.
