Michael wins the first of many meetings to come. ---------------------------------------------------- MJ gets two in a row. Big Country - In a Big CountryBig Country is a rock band from Dunfermline, Scotland, popular in the early to mid-1980s but still releasing material for a cult following. The band was notable for music heavily accented with traditional Scottish folk and martial music styles, as well as for playing and engineering their guitar sound to resemble the bagpipes, fiddles and other traditional folk instruments. Vs. Michael Jackson - Wanna Be Startin' Something"Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" is a 1983 single released from Michael Jackson's multi-platinum selling 1982 album Thriller. It was the first track on the album, and the fourth song released as a single, following "The Girl Is Mine" (a duet with Paul McCartney), "Billie Jean", and "Beat It. The song has recently been re-recorded by R&B artist Akon for the Thriller - 25th Anniversary Edition album.

MJ again.
He's got a lot of songs in this tourney. He must be a big deal or something.

Big Country. Its their only song, have a heart! Hehe. I like how you don't have the songs set, but you still know it's their only song in the tourney.

After the last two semi-upsets (Loverboy and Devo) over Jackson, I'm surprised Big Country didn't make it. ----------------------------------------------------------------- After all this time, Bananarama finally make their appearence. Bananarama - Venus"Venus" had been a part of Bananarama's repertoire for several years before they recorded it. Group members Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey, and Keren Woodward had the idea of turning the song into a dance music tune, but they met with resistance from their producers at the time, Steve Jolley and Tony Swain. Undaunted, the women brought the idea to the production trio of Stock Aitken Waterman (SAW), who had just recently scored a global hit producing Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)". Vs. Duran Duran - Rio"Rio" is a hit single from the album Rio by Duran Duran, and one of their most recognizable songs and music videos. "Rio" was released worldwide in November 1982, then was reissued in the United States in March of 1983, and was a Top 20 hit on both sides of the Atlantic
