Everybody, hop in my car. It's as big as whale! Let's head down that Atlanta highway! ---------------------------------------------------- This is New Orders absolute last chance to advance. Probably their best one to as they are going up against one I like, but I'm not sure many people know about. Animotion - Obsession"Obsession" is a 1985 song recorded by New Wave synth-dance group Animotion. The song hit number six in the United States, and number five in the United Kingdom in early 1985, helped by a distinct video that received heavy rotation on MTV. "Obsession" is a mainstay on '80s compilations and is featured in the 2002 PlayStation 2 videogame Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as part of the New Wave radio station Wave 103. It has also been used as the theme song for WWF Saturday Night's Main Event (aired on NBC) and Fashion Television Channel, as well as VH1's House of Style. Various artists have covered the song, including The Azoic in 2004, and the Sugababes, for their album - Taller In More Ways, in 2005. The song has been used as the opening theme for the internationally syndicated Canadian program FT - FashionTelevision since it premiered in 1986. Vs. New Order - True Faith"True Faith" is a 1987 track from New Order, produced by Stephen Hague. It was the first New Order single since their debut "Ceremony" to be issued in the UK as two separate 12" singles. The second 12" single features two remixes of "True Faith" by Shep Pettibone. Both versions of the 12" (and also the edited 7") also include the song "1963." It is one of New Order's most popular songs. The single charted at number 4 in the United Kingdom on its original release in 1987.

Apparently I was completely wrong, and New Order is OUT. This surprises me as not even Blue Monday advanced. ------------------------------------------------------------------- A board favorite goes up against an all-time favorite in this one. Madonna - Who's That Girl? The single was a huge success all around the world and effortlessly made it to the number one spot in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and many others. The song was nominated for "Best Song From A Motion Picture" at the 1988 Grammy Awards and "Best Original Song" at the 1988 Golden Globe Awards. "Who's That Girl" is absent from Madonna's first greatest hits compilation, The Immaculate Collection. The song topped the charts in several countries. Many fans consider it one of her best songs, although, at the time, it was criticized by some magazines, such as Rolling Stone, as an attempt to capitalize on Madonna's previous single, "La Isla Bonita", which failed to chart as high as some thought it should have. "Who's that Girl" debuted the week of July 11, 1987, at #43, on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, about one month after "La Isla Bonita" fell out of the top 40. Like most Madonna singles of the 1980's, "Who's That Girl" reached the summit rapidly, advancing 2-1 the week of August 22. The song was one of the most popular singles of the summer of 1987, remaining in the Top 20 for eight weeks. The single was the 13th consecutive Top 10 single, and the 14th consecutive Top 20 single for the singer. Thus far Madonna has only performed this song on one of her tours, the Who's That Girl World Tour in 1987. Vs. Huey Lewis & The News - If this is it"If This Is It" is a power ballad-type song by American rock band Huey Lewis & The News. It was released on their third album Sports in 1983, and was a top ten hit in 1984 on the US Hot 100 and US A.C. The popular Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation, which is known for named each episode after an 80s hit song, named an episode after this song.
