Hey I'm not sure if you or I did that DP (this is probably my flub)... but the video for the MJ song... No. Either way Miami Vice's theme has my vote. Fixed it. Whoever's fault it was, doesn't matter now. New match coming up.

Jan lays down the hammer on MJ and Paul. ------------------------------------------------------- Duran Duran is on the prowl for another entry into round 2. Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf"Hungry Like the Wolf" was Duran Duran's second Top 5 hit in the UK and was their breakout hit in the US. It was their fifth single, released off their 1982 album, Rio, and has become one of the band's signature songs. Its popularity was boosted by MTV which played the accompanying music video in heavy rotation. Vs. Johnny Hates Jazz - Shattered DreamsJohnny Hates Jazz was an English pop band formed in 1986 by Clark Datchler (vocals, piano), Calvin Hayes (keyboards), and the German born Mike Nocito (bass).

Johnny just learned not to cry wolf! ---------------------------------------------- Both of these next artists had two songs in this contest. Frankie had their first attempt move on to round 2, Oingo is trying to make sure they aren't completely eliminated. Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Two Tribes"Two Tribes" is the title track of the second single by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, released in the UK by ZTT Records in May 1984 (see 1984 in music). The song was later included on the album Welcome to the Pleasuredome. The single was a phenomenal success in the UK, staying at the top of the singles chart for nine consecutive weeks, during which time the group's previous single "Relax" climbed back up the charts to number two. This song, along with Relax quickly became two of the biggest selling singles of all time in the UK, mainly due to the group's label, ZTT, issuing limited editions of new and varied mixes of both songs every couple of weeks, which fans bought and re-bought, consequently sending both singles over the one-million mark. Vs. Oingo Boingo - Weird ScienceWeird Science is a song that was written and performed by Oingo Boingo. It is the theme song to the Weird Science film and television series. It was released on the film's soundtrack, as well as Oingo Boingo's 1985 album, Dead Man's Party in a different version.

Frankie gets swept? Weird. ------------------------------------------------- Which one of these next two can find a little slice of heaven for themselves? Belinda Carlisle - Heaven Is A Place On Earth"Heaven Is a Place on Earth" is a song recorded by Belinda Carlisle, the lead singer of The Go-Go's. Written by Rick Nowels and Ellen Shipley, it hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 on December 5, 1987, becoming Carlisle's only U.S. chart-topper with or without The Go-Go's ("We Got the Beat" and "I Get Weak" each hit #2 & Vacation made #8 in 1982). A month later it hit Number One on the UK singles chart and held the spot for two weeks. Vs. Madonna - Express Yourself"Express Yourself" was the second single from Madonna's multi-platinum selling 1989 album Like a Prayer. It was composed and produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray, with additional production and remixing by Shep Pettibone (Pettibone did another remix a year later, the "Shep's Spressin' Himself Remix"). The extended mixes from this single also appeared on Remixed Prayers.

Madonna will probably win, but I'll take "Heaven is a Place on Earth" in this round.
I had to listen to this song again to remember just how awesome the chorus is.
