There was an attempt at a TV series based on the DESTROYER books. Back in the days when the networks showed the piolots for stuff they turned down. I think it was ABC But I like this movie. Really took advatange of the renovation of the Statue of Liberty for that stunt (basically what I am saying is, what would have been there if they weren't doing that?) I think they can relaunch this franchise THE DESTROYER books are a good source for pictures, at least one would think they would.

"GOOD! We'll work on that after dinner." Chiun is the Man. I love that scene ... Remo: "Chiun ... there are days that I really like you." Chiun: "Of course ... I am Chiun." Remo: "Then there are days that I could really kill you." Chiun: "Good, We'll work on that after dinner." It just doesn't get much better than that. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing this film until it came on a movie channel at 2 in the morning. Probably around 1998 or so. I had heard about this movie so I decided that I'd watch it. And it was a great little cheesy movie. Every time it's broadcast now (and I notice that it's on) I have got to see it. Another great scene is that scene when Chiun uses his skills to win a stuffed toy...and he and Fred Ward walks off into the sunset holding it. "Remember, I won it." Its so goofy, so silly, so cheesy...and yet it works in a good way.....sorta like the movie.
