Heh, when I saw Mario throw down the mega-fireball thingie as a super move (thats what me and my little bro called it when we saw the trailer...they hadnt named it "final smash" yet), I was afraid that mega fart near the end was Wario's. Pleasantly surprised that it's Warioman, Im actually suprised it isnt, especially when i saw the first pic of him eating garlic

www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/various/various16.htmlEvents It’s the return of Events! This is a single-player mode in which you battle through predetermined situations. This is the Events selection screen. Oh! The pictures make it easy to understand. And it has different difficulty settings! For these, a harder setting is probably more exciting, but you can go ahead and set it however you like. For example, you’ll find these kinds of situations: Two Trouble Kings Character: Mario Bowser and King Dedede battle as a team! And Mario stands alone against them. Pink Ball Repulsion Character: Meta Knight Kirby must not be allowed on the Battleship Halberd! Blast Kirby off before the platform lands on the Halberd! Cleaning House in Skyworld Character: Pit Destroy all the terrain in Skyworld! Wario both gets in the way and helps out? Sleeping in the Eggs Character: Yoshi Using Yoshi’s Egg Lay standard special move, put both enemies inside eggs simultaneously! Dark Link Duel Character: Link It’s a fated battle with your own shadow. This is a stamina based match. High scores are recorded for each challenge at each difficulty level. You don’t just clear these challenges—competing for time will magnify the fun. Enjoy Smash’s chance meetings between a variety of characters!

Looks like something related to Fox's Landmaster Tank Final Smash.
Probably have to survive an attack from it, or kill someone with it's barrel roll attack, something like that.

Interesting event matches. Here's hoping this time they aren't as CHEAP as a lot of the Melee ones were.

*MELEE SPOILERS AHEAD*
I know most of you have it aced, but regardless...
I couldn't beat a few of them without DK, and the last one without Jigglypuff (that cliffhanger trick or whatever never worked for me). Once you get the hang of some of them they arent that hard (I can beat the hands on a consistent basis with Dr. Mario and Roy with little trouble...just can't get caught doing anything stupid or getting greedy with my attacks, just one strong or two weak attacks on a hand then get ready for whats coming and react).
I am glad they're adding some extra stipulations...I can tell already though the Yoshi and Metaknight vs. Kirby ones might give me some fits though...depending on how long I have to do them. If I have infinite time on the yoshi one and just need to stay alive/not KO the opponents that'll be easy.
Don't like the difficulty idea myself. I really hope it's not just those ten events with 3 difficulties and/or I have to beat them on all difficulties to get the next 10. Maybe torwards the end have some that are just the hard difficulty.
I also hope that for the ones where you can pick your own character it isnt so hard that you are truly limited to a couple (legendary pokemon...I forget the name of it but the final one).

They need to make them HARDER. Some of them need to be harder, yeah, but ones where you CANNOT win without luck? That's not fair, nor is it fun.

www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage18.htmlMelee Stages First, take a look... Could this be... The Temple! This is the Temple stage from the last installment, Super Smash Bros. Melee. I think that based on my updates so far, you probably understand that we’ve created plenty of stages. But we wanted to do more, so we’ve brought back a number of stages that appeared in the last game. It’s...big... It’s perfect for those who like pursuit. We’ve tried to create an exact replica, but there may be a few areas that differ from the last game. I hope you understand. In general, the Melee stages have the same background music as in the last game, but we’ve also prepared some tracks like this. "Zelda II: Adventure of Link: Great Temple/Temple" (0:54) Composition Supervisor: Akito Nakatsuka Arrangement Supervisor: Shogo Sakai

I f***ing hate that stage, but a couple of my friends love it and always insist on playing in it.

As long as both of those annoying F-Zero stages don't come back I'm cool with the old stages.

As long as they don't bring back Flatzone, THE worst stage of Melee, I'll be so glad.

I hated both of the F-Zero stages myself. Big Blue was just a big game of trying to time your jumps right, I probably killed myself more than got killed by someone else.
The Mute City one is good except when the platform takes off. A smash attack at even 50% would knock you too far to get back.
Temple...meh...I wish they would cut that bottom part out completely. It just seems like a black hole for weapons and so on. I always did my fighting on the top levels.

I never minded any of the stages, but I remember that my friends always hated Poke-Floats and the Ice Climbers stages; I guess that's why I almost always won.

Poke Floats was pretty neat, the fights would just end pretty quick, WELL before the full cycle went. The Ice Climbers stage is alright, but I can see why people hate it. Big Blue is a faster paced Ice Climber stage basically, which is what I didn't like.
