What is the most you have racked up in overdue fees at your Video store?
I still have an outstanding amount of $380 on one Video from 8 years ago.

Oh lord. Being a clerk/manager at my grandfathers video store for the last 9 1/2 years, I can't take part in this thread. It's already giving me a headache.

I've received death threats from people because THEY turn their stuff in late. Over crap like $10 too.

Around $20. I was already a day late and when I went to take it back, I had a wreck and my car was towed when I went to the hospital. By the time I got my car out and got the game back two weeks had passed.

One video store still says my parents owe them $120 for two N64 games that I supposedly rented more than 10 years ago. Apparently they let someone rent them under my name without asking for a card. Haven't been there since.

See stuff like what you guys are talking about, I try to work with people and help them out with stuff like that. Anyone willing to work with me and talk with me, I'm willing to work with (ask Cornfed I tell him stories all the time, including charging people total late fees of $5 for having 5 movies out 15 days late). It's when people cuss, and lie and all that crap that makes me mad.

I really find it crazy when people send in their kids to return their ADULT MOVIES!

i would say a $1.07 from a gameboy game!!! It was looney tunes to be exact. I was sick the day it was due, and couldn't return it.

I don't think I've ever been late with tapes. Probably since I used to rent most of my movies at Blockbuster using free coupons my mom got by putting our telephone bills through MCI.
The rest I rented at a local general store. I walked in over a foot of snow on the burm of the road to get the tape there the next day (since they did a .99 rental for a night for older movies) and the guy told not to worry about being a day or two late with those tapes. He said they seldom charge anyone late fees on the older ones as long as they return them within a week.

lol, like Deadpool, I too worked in a video store for a good while. I can relate to the death threats and other bs they put you through. However, one time I was coming and saw a customer up and my co-worker was dealing with her. She had a $350 bill and was like, Oh we've done worse here before. I'm like how the hell..... and before?!?

Its weird. The customers at the store I work at (part of a large chain - but I won't give the name) seem to be well trained. I can tell people they have upwards of $50 late fees and they normally say "okay" and pay it, except on the rarest occasions
