I hate Valentine's Day! I love my boyfriend and all and he loves me but I don't want some jewelry or candy or flowers from him because it SYMBOLIZES how much he loves me...I already know he does so why make him spend his hard earned cash on an unofficial holiday! Its stupid and corny and cheesy and if you want all that cheesy stuff..then good for you but for me..just knowing i have and am loved is enough and more than any material possession can ever say or do for me

The holiday is bullshit for many reasons:
1) Money Holiday...no point
2) Guys and girls who KNOW they would make great bf/gf and who are single this day...feel even worse
3) everything has to be ULTRA Cute and ULTRA romantic on this day...how about if you put a good enough effort into it, how about you appreciate it!
I could go on...but I don't want this post to be 35 points long...and take up 2 pages...

Hate Valentines Day. Always have, always will. In school I never had a g/f on one and always felt like s***. Well, I felt like s*** the rest of the time too. But then especially.
Plus I don't need a card company to tell me when to love someone. If you love someone, you treat them good all year. Not just on a certain day.
