Internet-connected people still buy music these days? I guess it's the American copyright system.
For me, I believe it was a Snook CD I bought about 2 years ago. It wasn't available for download at the time (he's a local Nfld comedian/artist), so I bought the CD.
In Canada, music is free for now. Prime Minister Stephen Harper attempted to change the copyright law so music wouldn't be free anymore, but there were protests, and he backed off.
Record companies/artists are supposed to get a percentage of sales of blank tapes, blank CD-Rs, and possibly MP3 players, that's the basis for the justification of Canada's free music system. Maybe the US could do the same thing.

That is a pretty interesting idea. Man I swear Canada is like Japan-West. Always ahead of the curve and more efficient. Last CD I bought? Heartless Bastards. i can't remember the name of the album tho.

I buy all of my albums off of iTunes.
And the last one I bought was "Wolves in Wolves Clothing" by NOFX.
Although the last one I bought in stores was "Youth" by Matisyahu. Which is just plain AWESOME.
