Sheldon: So remember kids, a stepdad is a lot like a new puppy. They need patience and love while they adjust to their new surroundings. But remember - if he is ever abusive to you or mommy, what are the magic numbers? Kids: 9-1-1! Sheldon: Thaaaaaaat's right!

I like the movie, but the ending scene kind of falls flat with me.
Cop: Are you okay? Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda f***ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

It is hilarious. I remember when i first watched it, I was laughing my ass off, and struggling trying to hold it in.

Loved this movie.
It's definitely underrated and hated for poor reasons.

I kinda compare it with Cable Guy, which is another severely underrated dark comedy.

Cable Guy lost all favor with me when I turned to the channel is was on one day, and after Jim Carrey moonsaulted onto the satellite and knocked out all the tv stations, some guy in his home turned to his book while a really sappy tune played in the background. I immediately thought "oh, a message" and changed the channel.

I immediately thought "oh, a message" and changed the channel. That "some guy" was Kyle Gass, of Tenacious D. And "books are good" is a message I can live with...had I realized that was actually a message at the time.
