It was reported before, I doubt anyone outside of the Hart family would even care, seeing as she is nowhere near important as Bret is, and she's just riding off the coattails of the Hart name.

I got a really bad taste in my mouth for the Hart family as a whole after reading the Bret Hart book...
I know that it's just one person's opinion of the family, but for the lack of a better term, that family seems nuckin' futs....

I mean I knew the family was a little batty. but Ellie and Diana just seemed like huge bitches for no reason. I completely agree about Ellie. One thing that I meant to ask The Hitman when I planned on meeting him on his book-signing tour was if Ellie had ever been diagnosed with any kind of developmental problems (she seemed psychotic in thinking that the whole world revolved around her, and that she had the right to bitch about anything that didn't go her way). I decided to withhold that question, thinking Bret might get upset with me for talking 'talking trash' about one of his relatives. Is Jim Neidhart still married to her? I don't condone violence, but a roommate that I was stuck living with for close to a year sounds damn similar to Ellie in terms of attitude, and that c*** came close to making me smack her up when all she would do was to yell and curse at me instead of going along with my attempts to settle things through calm, rational discussion. Alls I can say for Jim's sake is that he's left her by this point, or has found some way to escape the reality that is his hellish marriage (Is it really any wonder why he became a cocaine addict?).

I'm pretty sure Bret Mentions that Ellie and Jim broke up.
When I read what she did to Martha one night at dinner I was shocked. I mean who throws a fit because someone doesn't like the taste of something? the crazy thing is Jim knew about Ellie before he married her.

I hate to say it, but from what I have gotten out of Bret's book, Stu is 6000% responsible for how Ellie turned out. She was "daddy's little girl" and she happily ran to tattle on the boys about ANYTHING they did, and Stu always made sure they PAYED! That sounds like she could have lied about stuff, just because she knew Stu would come charging at her brothers like a mad bull. The old man never bothered to learn their side of things. I know "boys will be boys" crap, but girls can be sneaky, manipulative, and just plain out right MEAN. I'm sorry if that sounds sexist, but any child with that much protection will end up that way. (Even if it's an only boy/one of few boys with an overly protective mother and lots of sisters.)

I also got the sense that Stu was irresponsible for the way he reared Ellie, but I have to wonder why the rest of Bret's sisters turned out fine compared to her. Why was she allowed to be 'daddy's little girl to the exclusion of all the other daughters Stu had?

I heard Diana is right up there with Ellie in the "pain in the ass" department, and I think Martha (Owen's wife) doesn't have a whole lot of nice things to say about Georgia...but I think Alison turned out ok. (I think it was Georgia...maybe I've gotten Alison and her mixed around)

Dean sounded like a nice guy, until he became a drug addict, at which point he hardly seemed like his old self.
