Usually when we start posting online, people start out talking in TXT speak or dont type "right", or spell wrong. What was your biggest problem?
My first one (even though it sounds weird) is that I always talked real professional like. Just seemed real fake.
Then I started talking way too regular for online, to try and like contradict the first one. Now I think I can even it out.
One thing I use to do bad (and it actually got me banned about this forum, damn Nazi mods). I ALWAYS put the "..." inbetween like every sentence. I use commas and periods regularly now but I always end my posts with the "..." (unless its GOT to be a question mark or something) which some have noticed. I unno I like to make it seem like Im going and going and never finish what Im saying...
So yeah...how about yall?

I typed in all caps.
Then someone made fun of me for it and I ran away crying.

Grammar Nice work, I was gonna catch that one. Beat me to it as well...and I just noted that on a quality monitoring form at work, that same word is misspelled...funny...we dock off points for bad email grammar...and the damn word is not spelled correctly. **spell checked for your protection**

I use a lot of slang words like, "I dunno" and the like. Sometimes I add a ton of periods after things I say. This is a leftover from an old chat room I posted at where you couldn't register a username, so anyone could use any name, anytime. I added the periods in so people would know for sure something said was from me, not someone else. I suppose you could memorize IPs, since those were always shown, but really, who wants to do that?
Otherwise, besides words I just can not learn to spell, I am not aware of any habits I really have online I don't have in real life.

doesnt every forum have nazi mods? Not here, I really like the mods at Wrestlecrap. I've been on a lot of forums in my day and the mods here are without question the best. They do their job, and they don't mod too much to the point where you can't say anything, but they do enough to where you know the rules.

I am trying to break myself of the habit because I do not want to come across as an idiot or uneducated when I enter the working world and cost myself a job or anything like that.

I love the OO board..I happen to get a huge kick out of the Mod Squad over there. Grammar has never been a problem for me over there, just (comment withheld for the sake of other posters who might be at both boards). If you were in bad with the Mod Squad, you were in trouble regardless of your grammar.

Nice Giffenesque chortle there.
Ah, a joke that maybe eight people will get, and even less will find funny.
