The dialogue of witty comebacks every two seconds was alittle much though. Agreed. She'd get such a slap in real-life.

Big Fish by Tim Burton got to me the most.I'm not one to cry during movies but this one almost got me...close but no cigar.
The whole relationship between the father and the son reminded a whole lot of my own and the ending...holy f***, the flood gates almost opened.

Chasing Amy had a good lesson for me. The part about not holding someone's past against them, cause no matter what they wanted THEN, they want you NOW. Not the part about having a threesome with your girlfriend and your best friend. Ditto. The part where Holden and Alyssa make up in the rain is tear-jerking. It wasn't meant to be though (and for a good reason) but a great movie if you're looking for something different.

I had a very similar experience while watching Ernest Goes To Camp.

I had a very similar experience while watching Ernest Goes To Camp. Ernest Goes To Jail made me think about the brutal nature of the prison industrial complex and the very real problem of identity theft in our society.

I watched Juno in the theater with my girlfriend. You can't imagine how overwhelming the feelings I got from being there with her and the movie itself where.

I'd call you a smurfing liar I actually forgot they talk about that in High Fidelity...eerie coincidence...*waves fingers spookily* I could probably write the entire script for that movie right now if I had to. But, speaking of Juno, on The Price is Right big million dollar thing on Friday, they had a hamburger phone and I marked. If I'd been up before noon that day, I'd have probably done the same. BTW, not to kill the vibe, but I could probably type out the entire script too, cuz it was BASED ON A BOOK (Again, not meaning to be a dick, just saying...)

I saw Juno and thought it was crap, but to each his own.

I think a lot of the appeal of the film has to do with situations like that. Again, regardless of the actual quality of the film, the story itself was what hit me so hard.
