Yeah what the hell are you guys talking about? Is it as annoying as wavedashing was to Melee? On the other hand may I ask you what "wavedashing" in SSBM is?

Its abusing the L air dodge to the point of that's how you move left to right with small jumps than air dodge. Its stopped in Brawl by not giving any foawrd push with the air dodge

Considering Europe gets it before America it some what makes up for Brawl.
Then I remember America will get there's a week later while Europe still has no idea when their going to get Brawl.
What I know so far about the game is this:
- Snaking has been esentially removed. They've changed the boost so that it would actually be easier (And quicker) just to race normally then trying to snake it. - 32 tracks. 16 new ones (Though some do have similarities to older tracks). There will also be 4 from the N64, Gamecube and DS versions and 2 from the SNES and GBA versions. - There are now 12 people in a race apposed to 8. - Mii is playable - The starting 12 will most likely be : Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, DK, Wario, Bowser, Waluigi, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach. - New items include a Megamushroom (Makes your kart bigger), POW Block (Causes a tremor or something like that) and a Lightni CLoud (Gives you a speed increase but zaps you at the end of it. You have to time it correctly to bump another racer and pss the cloud to them) - 50 CC = Karts only. 100 CC = Bikes only. 150 CC = Mixture. - Their are two differences between Bikes and Karts. Bikes can get up to a powerul Red boost when turning while Bike's can only do weaker Blue boosts. Bikes however can pull wheelies on straights that gives you a slight speed boost.
From what I can tell, it's mostly just an upgraded Mario Kart DS. But Mario Kart DS was awesome so I'll be getting this one on launch (And spending the weekend going online before I have to go back to Uni ;o; )

I'd probably get it, but they haven't even announced the launch date for SSB in Australia yet. So I'm worrying more about SSB than MK now.

Yeah and they released a comercial. I'm hyped, and can't wait to play with the WII-Wheel My GF is really mad that her "turtle team" have been split up into their own cars. I've got it on reserve already What is this snaking people are talking of? I had never experienced "snaking" until I played Mario Kart DS online. Basically it's where anytime there's a straightaway, you zig zag back and forth across the track while powersliding and boosting. Apparently they've changed the powersliding so that people can't do that anymore, or at least not to the extent that they have. So basically you mean driving for strategy so that people behind you will be like OMG you cheater. I mean it takes a while to master the powerslide they placed into the darn game, why not use it to your advantage. Or if your DK/Bowser bump them off the road that's what i do to people who "snake" There was an NES Mario Kart?

For example, there were snakers already on the day MK:DS came out!

I'll probably get it
I wish they would put them back in Karts though like SNES and 64
I hated Double Dash, I hope the simplicity of the former 2 come back, I hate all these random "screw overs" you get like the Chain Chomp and such
Also why not do away with baby Mario and baby Luigi? Seems like such a waste with all the characters they would include.

I always loved the power drift in MK64, thought it was the perfect system for little built-in boosts.

Clearly Sir Nintendo must clarify this situation.
Nintendo said No Snaking. It was annouced a few days ago, look on GoNintendo.com
The steeringwheel is not just a piece of plastic. It actually has stuff built in, and has buttons that function without pressing a button on the Wiimote (in other words, the Zapper just hits the B button by using the trigger, this functions by other means then that).
Basically, it's gonna kick ass. Period. If you don't like the WiiWheel, just sell it on eBay. It's free.

Pac-Man... that would be awesome to see the ol' Pac attack in a game with Mario.
