If 90210 doesn't count, then it's Saved by the Bell. Just because I've never heard of the other ones listed.
I may throw in "Premiers Baisers", but I'm sure nobody ever heard of it, with maybe the exception of Sssnakebite.

Dear Wrestlecrappers,
Welcome Back Kotter is the best show about high school life. And thank you for excusing Juan from class yesterday, he was sick.
Sincerely, Epstein's mother.
(Funny thing is, as much as my mom didn't want me watching that show, all her sick notes were written exactly the same way.)

I say Buffy. It was about the problems teenagers faced, albeit personified into monster form, and it managed to have pretty people under the age of 25 in it. It was also the best telefantasy of it's day, and wasn't that heavy handed. It also understood how vapid and useless high school was. I mean, the thing about these coming of age/ generational dramas is how self-important the entire premise is.
Actually, now that I think about it, Not Another Teen Movie.
Also, Second place for Parker Lewis Can't Lose. Yeah, that show ruled.

How the hell isn't Freaks and Geeks winning this poll in a land slide? Did any other High School show have Nick Andopolis talk/sing Lady to Lindsey Weir? I think not.

Freaks and Geeks. An all time favorite of mine, and managed to be hilarious, and somewhat serious, and is responsible for launching Apatow and Rogen into the stratosphere.

Does Wonder Years count as a high school show? Cause I nominate that if it does.

I went with Freaks and Geeks. I could totally relate to most of the characters in that show.
UNLIKE Saved By The Bell. I hated every character in that show except for Kelly and Screech. I hated that show with a passion.
