Just thinking of my favourtie Book Movie and Anime characters it seems that I'm pretty obsessed with fairly minor characters. Erisi Dlarit who warranted about 25 pages total in a 4 book X-Wing series is my greatest loved fictional character ever for example. Others include Rip van Winkle who was in 1 OVA of the Hellsing Anime and about 20 pages of the Manga is a great love of mine. Hansel and Gretel from Black Lagoon, in only 3 episodes but I think are supremely cool. A character named Sorry from the Malazan Empire series of books which is currently 8 books long was actually only in the first one but I still love her. Anyone else have a love for minor characters like that?

Well, the one constant starring role in those X-Wing books, Wedge, was a very minor role in the movies.

Luca Brasi gets only about 5 minutes in the movie and just a little more backstory in the book but is one of the most badass characters in the Godfather

Those two morons that pose as Gai and Lee in a Naruto filler episode and the ramen ninjas from the other one.

I noticed in Grindhouse there's a guy who's name is, I kid you not, Omar Doom. I don't even remember what his character name is or what he did, but right now, he gets my vote.

This character. He's one of the bounty heads from an episode of Cowboy Bebop. Pierre Le Fou. He has the mind of a child and finds he enjoys murder very much. Plus, he can like float around everywhere real peculiar like and take bullets and stuff. One of the few times Spike wasn't sure he'd come out on top. (or back alive even)

The cowboy sniper dude from Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I don't know why, I just found him more enjoyable than anyone else in that movie.

Hooch from Scrubs Ralph from My Name is Earl Dunno if he's too major for bit-part, but Lindsey from Angel is one of my favourite characters from anything, ever.
