My roommate is a Red Sox die hart.
He said Gagne would smurf it up. I said Gagne would probably smurf it up.
He's laughing up a storm right now. It made his day.

Rangers open their season in about 15 minutes. Ian Kinsler is not in the lineup tonight with flu symptoms. Ramon Vazquez will start in his place.
Come on Millwood, lets actually start a season in a good way for once. Please?
Edit: Forget that, Kinsler has decided to play.

Hey Ani, can you tell me if Mike Jacobs has a hit today? He's my guy in MLB.com Beat The Streak today. Of course, that was before I realized he was facing Santana.

My Jays have to try to beat the Yankees on the last Opening Day at Yankee Stadium. I'm not looking forward to this. Rain delay right now. You mean the Jays actually HAVE fans? News to me... Let me guess, Yankee fan? I'm just shooting in the dark, seeing as I had no idea people in Wyoming liked baseball.

I really hope this isn't going to be another bad April or else we're screwed in the NL East. :::Looks at Wednesday's starters::: Ah, Cole Hamels is starting. I have a good feeling we'll be 1-1 after game 2 of the season.

Jensen Lewis and Rafael Perez looked pretty rusty today. Hopefully it's not a recurring problem.

Also, I was thinking of trying that Web Gems game again this year. I tried to get it started last year, but there were too many complications.

Man the umpires hate Milton Bradley. He got drilled in the foot (obvious to anyone with functioning eyes) and ran to first base, they called him back claiming it didn't hit him. Next pitch was outside and ball 4 so he walked and he tossed his bat down and the ump is getting all pissy. He didn't throw it at him or anything, just down, like everyone else does when they walk.
Bradley hasn't said a word or anything. It's like their trying to provoke him to say something.

I think the umpires just like to play with him and see if he'll get pissed off, especially considering what happened last year.

Someone on the Mets board made this up. Sums up today very well: I would make a "SabathiOWNED" myself, but he didn't exactly own anyone today. If anything, Sabathia was ThOWNEDme. Hopefully there will be a good amount of CarmOWNAGE on Wednesday.
