Could you share some cool stories about your wrestling days at LSU? Also what was your record and how much did you weigh back then. Hope you get well soon. Do you ever go back to Baton Rouge? We'd love to host you at our tailgate party this football season if you're up for it.

I never knew you wrestled at LSU, and i consider my self one of the biggest LSU fans on the planet. It would indeed be great to here some stories from your days back in the good ole Red Stick.

Well, I don't have a lot of stories. I wrestled there in '82-'86 and did all right in my years there. Just guessing, maybe about 50-15. Not great, not bad. I was more successful internationally representing Canada when I became the Jr. World Champ in '83 defeating U.S.A.'s Gary Albright in the final. Had great times there at LSU! I used to bounce at a bar called "The Bengal". And get into trouble at the "Preppy" bars. Low-class wrestlers don't mix well with rich kids, apparently!Especially when my 118 pound room-mate was supplexing them on their heads! I loved wrestling, but you just couldn't beat the football games. I had never been in a crowd that large before, it was awesome. I live in Houston now, so you never know, maybe I could tailgate with you one day. You'd just have to pull a few strings for me so I could buy some tickets. I'm sure they're hard to come by now. That'd be something I'd like to come to myself , but yeesh as a Razorback fan, I'm sure I'd get "Tiger Bait" screamed at me!

'Quake Hi John, was just wondering what your thoughts on Gary Albright were? I saw him work in Japan a bit, and was quite impressed - like you, a good big man. Was shocked and saddened when he passed away.

Damn a few fellow Tigers on board here. I know LSU tickets are hard to come by(for a reasonable price). They don't hook you up John, considering you were athlete alumni that went on to get some celebrity status?

Gary was my rival, a good wrestler but I didn't know him too personally. No LSU doesn't hook me up. I don't contribute thousands of $$$. 'Quake
