One time I went to sleep on friday. I woke on a few occasions and saw it was still dark and went back to sleep. My roomate and a friend was in the room at one point, Iopened my eyes, pretended to sleep and when they we're gone I drifted off again.
Finally I got up and was told that it was sunday morning. I had slept right through all of saturday exept maybe a few minutes of temorary conciousness.
Granted I was in the military at the time and had one weekend off after two weeks of basic training.
Have you ever slept a big length of time?

A few weeks ago I went to sleep after college on Tuesday (2pm), when I woke up, Paul O'Grady was on the TV, so I thought I had only slept 3 hours, I checked my phone, and I had a load of texts from my bandmates wondering where I was (We practice at 9 on Wednesday nights)
So 51 hours for me.

About 15 hours. I'm really lazy, but after a few hours, it's just impossible NOT to wake up.

17 and a half hours of sleep is my record. I had stayed up for 40 hours (which I've done on occassion... usually the most I sleep from that much of being awake is 14) but right before I went to bed, a homie came by with some herbal medicine.
I did 17 once from being sick. Those are my longest straight. I did roughtly 17 one time I was switching my sleep cycle around to go to Atlantic City on a bus trip and had to be up by 5 am. I woke up for less than hour total time twice. Woke up, got on the bus and about an hour into the trip, I passed out again for maybe half an hour... would've been longer, but I couldn't get comfortable.
Oddly enough, I've never done 15-16. The next to lowest after the 17's was 14-14 1/2.

How can anyone sleep for over one day? That just doesn't sound healthy at all. :\
About 14 hours for me.

I slept 36 hours with a quick cigarette in between last Saturday going into Sunday, that was after 3 days of partying though. Sucks that I lost a whole day though, I was meant to go out that Saturday night too.

I'm usually a solid 7-9 hour sleeper, but sometimes I hit 10 or 11. The longest I've ever slept consecutively was after a few days of either little or no sleep, a 16 hour stretch. Hardly spectacular, but one time I slept 40 out of 72 hours. That was a good few days.

Longest for me in recent memory was 13.5 hours. This would've been around the time of my gaming convention in this area (BASHCon 22). The night before, I didn't get to sleep until 1 a.m. (not usually early for me) and woke up at 5:30 the next morning (since I worked the desk for the morning shift). That day, I was tired as all get out (after the shift was over at 11, I was almost keeled over). I somehow managed to stay awake until about 10:30 that night. Once I passed out, I was out cold from then until noon the next day.
That just told me right there never to pull that crap for the next year's BASHCon (which I didn't). 4.5 hours of sleep for me is just unnatural.

Nevermind your from Norway, don't need much training to fight those Dutch.

The longest I can remember was 2 years ago, I went to sleep at about 11:30 PM and work up the next day at about 2:30 PM.

Mine was 16 hours. The first week that I worked overnights it was July and hot as hell out, so I didn't get much sleep that first week, maybe an hour or two a day. So Saturday rolled around and I had to work late, then went to a softball tournament and drank myself silly. I got home early in the afternoon and slept for 16 hours. Man, that was a long time ago.

2 minutes, I don't need much sleep because I eat a special form of caffeine made from Steve Blackman's feces.

Basic training is the only english words I could think of to describe those two week.

I can't remember exactly, but somthing in the 12-14 hours range.
I'm a solid and consistent sleeper, but I always try to get up soon enough not to screw my biorhythm.
When I come home in the early morning, I usually sleep for a couple of hours until the mid-afternoon, then I get up and try to have a quasi regular day, and I'll recuperate the sleep the following night

22 hours. I had a concussion though. You slept for 22 hours after getting a concussion? You're probably lucky you woke up at all I don't remember ever sleeping for more than 12 hours at a time. I feel so lazy when I sleep in past 10 am, even if I was up late the night before.
