Hey 'Quake... Who was the most egotistical wrestler in the WWF while you were there?
Thanks.

I know you probably get asked this alot, but do you like snakes in real life (despite squashing one on TV)? Sorry if this is redundant, but curiosity is killing my cat again. Thank you (and I enjoy your old sumo pics by the way, I gave a speech about wrestling in my college communications class and sumo was a big part of my speech).

Hey big man,
Just wondered if you play poker?
I just learned how to play texas hold em.
On a more serious note, I lost my gran to cancer last year and I hope you get back to full health.
All the best, Johnny : Scotland

John, I just downloaded the clip of your debut in the WWF during the Dino Bravo push-up segment. It's a fantasticly entertaining bit, with Mean Gene and Jimmy Hart in the ring and Vince and Jesse doing commentary, they really put the whole event over well. It would of been nice for Warrior to sell your pair of big splashes for more than 30 seconds, but hey, that's Warrior for you. Anyway, what was the build up for that like for you? Did you meet Vince in Stamford and go over what your debut would be like? Did you have any creative imput? I don't have a date on the clip I watched, when was it? I'm curious as to how long it took between your debut and Summerslam 90 where you were, without a doubt, the biggest heal on earth. Anyway, hope you're feeling better and I hope you can find the time to tell us all about your debut, it was pretty darn cool.

Dear Mr. Tenta, FINALLY I get to ask a question I feel is a deserving one! I thought of this for a while because I used to watch you when I was younger and I hear stories about when you fought in my town how my dad held the arena doors open for you and Typhoon, and though I will admit you scared me a bit when I was younger, I know now that yu are a kind generous man who loved what he did and does and this leads me to my question: What do you consider to be THE greatest moment in your entire wrestling career? Think about it and get back to me. Thank You! Sincerely, Millie

Ok John, you just said that you hate the Bisch. Do you think that he's getting what he deserves for being a yes man for Vince? And what classic wrestler do you wish you had the chance to wrestle?

Hey John,
At first I didn't believe that you were really John Tenta, taking time to answer our questions, but after reading many of your posts, I really believe it's you. So, forgive me for being extremely star-struck, but I want to say that I am a huge fan, and I used to watch you all the time when I was little.
Anyways, I have two questions for you:
1) When you were in Human Oddities, what was it like working with ICP, and what were they like off camera?
2) Which did you like better: Working for WCW or working for WWF?
If you don't get time to answer my questions it's all good, but I would love to hear from you.
Thanks, Rachel Foxx

'Quake,
I couldn't help but read in another thread that you miss college. I just finished my first year, and I was wondering what college was like for you. How did you pick your college, what was it like living in the States (you're Canadian?), special/funny memories, favorite classes, memories from your college athletic days, crazy stories, your major, ect.
Also, one of my professors taught at LSU around 1981 or so, and had an amusing story about their football team. Wasn't LSU your alma mater, and were you in college during 1981?

I won't give my student's name out for his own privacy, sorry. Yoko had a bit of an ego, not terrible though. I don't particularly care for snakes. I played a bit of poker. I don't gamble, though cause I cry when I lose. WE didn't meet. We just set it up in Wheeling when we got there. It was ,I think less than a year or around a year between my debut, and Hogan match. Greatest moment was against Hogan in the main event at Summer Slam. I couldn't get to a higher point in my career. I'm sure Bischof is laughing all the way to the bank, so I'd love that punishment. Wish I could have wrestled Bret Hart in a single's match. ICP were fine to talk with. Just then they would fight with the creative department and mess everything up for the wrestlers. WWF is who I liked working for. I went to LSU in'82 (I think). I chose it because it offered me the biggest wrestling scholarship. I always wanted to go to school in the US as it just seemed a lot more cool than Canadian schools. I can't wrestle anymore, unfortunately. 'Quake

When your health allows you to, would you be open to working as a road agent or trainer for the WWE or get back into any aspect of pro wrestling. You should be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the next WrestleMania, just thought I would fit that in.

Do you think that a best of John Tenta DVD should be made? Personally I think it would be great to see.
I also think that Vince McMahon would benefit from releasing DVDs of WWE hall of fame inductees. Maybe he could do a multi-pack of all the guys so an Iron Sheik DVD would fly off of the shelves as fast as Paul Orndorff's or Hogan's would. Do you think this idea would work?

From those sumo pics you look a little like Jim Belushi.

Jim Belushi in the John Tenta story, that would be awesome. Seeing Belushi in sumo gear would be so out of place that I'd pay to see it on the big screen. Degrees of seperation of this movie really comes out: 1. John Tenta was played by Jim Belushi. Jim is related to John Belushi. John Belushi was in Animal House with Kevin Bacon. 2. John Tenta was played by Jim Belushi. Belushi is related to John Beluhsi. John Belushi was in the Blues Brothers, and his place was taken by John Goodman after he passed away. John Goodman was in The Big Lebowski with some guy who smashed up a car with a baseball bat.

First post my question is Mr. Tenta, what do you think of your new Classic SuperStars Series 6 Action figure ? IMO it seems a bit to large and i wish for both yours and king kong bundys figures they would have made a new body mold and not just reused yokozunas mold. Second question is sence i assume (and hope) they make a few more of your figures, If you could be in a 2-pack with any other wrestler who would it be?

So I'm not the only one who thinks the guy with the bat looks like Tenta? I think everyone on this board thought that he looked like Tenta. In fact, I actually watched the movie to see the guy after it was brought up on the old board.
