Hi Mr Tenta, Firstly I just want to wish you luck with your cancer, my Dad got cancer around the same time as you so I know how hard it can be but I wanted to wish you well like everyone else I've seen here.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Did Typhoon like his Tugboat gimmick ? 2. Can Hulkamania be stopped (please)? 3. Did you feel you deserved a run with one of the belts? I know Hogan pretty much was the WWF in the early 90's but you could have had an awesome run with the I.C title I think.
Thanks if you get a chance to answer, I'm a big fan and would really appreciate it. Once again wish you well.

Quake I got one question for you which has been bugging me... How come during all your interviews your constantly jogging or bobbing up and down non stop? Was it just to keep you pumped or to make you more intimidating?

Hey Mr. Tenta, I have a quick question for you. What was the most that you could ever squat, bench, and deadlift. As a powerlifter, I am just a bit curious?

Summer slam against Hulk will always be my fave.
I planned the openings, a couple high spots, and the finish. The rest is ad-libbed. NOBODY touched the winner.
Code word for being hurt in match: "I'm hurt!"
Yes, I was in Lake Mary, and Nativity.
I always found out about my future at the tapings. I never knew in advance, the name was 'Quake, not Hogan.
I'm good friends with Booker T.
No he didn't like the Tugboat gimmick. Everything eventually must end. Every wrestler feels he should have a chance to run with a belt.
Fans downloading matches for free? What can I say? Is it illegal? I guess so, so just don't do it. You'll sleep better, unless you're sending me a big tape.
The "jogging" was a half rib/half gimmick idea by George Steele. He thought, "It would be great having you move from side to side like you're making the ground shake!" I agreed and did it, as he tried to hide his smile. I lost a lot of weight doing promos.

I was never a real powerlifter, I just weight-trained. My heaviest bench was just over 400, squat-600, deadlift, 400. Not great, not bad, all natural of course. 'Quake

Hey 'Quake, hope you're doing well. Got a few more questions. ! First off, was there anyone in the weight room that really just impressed everybody else? And also, (I'm not sure if this has already been asked, if it has just ignore it) when you were growing up did you watch any wrestling? If so, who were some of your favorites, and were any of them influences to you?

Hey Quake. I wish you the best and a speedy recovery. My question is, was Summerslam 91 the actual wedding between save and elizabeth? I read that it was. Thanks.

Hey Quake. We we all be praying for you over the next week or so. It was great to read some more positive news on your web diary this week, and we hope that the latest round of chemo continues to 'kick butt.' I've had trouble navigating the site in the past, so I'll try and post my sumo questions in the correct section now.
1) When you first joined Sadogatake stable, what chores did you have to do for the senior wrestlers? (Cooking, shopping by any chance?)
2) What were living/ sleeping conditions like?
3) Was your outstanding (unbeaten?) sumo record due to doing the sumo training harder than other sumotori, or due to doing different forms of training to other sumotori?
Very best of luck at the doctor's this week and next, and good luck with your book too. Should be quite a read! Hang on in there Kototenta!
All the best, CG

Hey Quake,
Whose idea was it to put you in the mask and call you Golga? Did you like the Oddities gimmick? What kind of attitude did ICP have backstage?
Thank you, The Rev

I don't know if anyone asked this yet, but over in the Wrestlecrap forum, we're doing a thread on "has anyone slammed Earthquake..." We had a few answers, but were wondering if you could let us know who might have done it.

Hi John
Just letting you know that when I was growing up you watching WWF TV you were one of the Wrestlers I hated most. Looking back now you did your Job perfect and played the role of the heel spot on.
Anyway just wondering what it was like when you faced The Beverly Brothers in Wembley Stadium at Summerslam 92.
When you first came into the WWF how did you find the Warrior and how did he change before and after the title reign.
Hope all goes well with the chemo, your a big man in the ring and outside it. It's just another apponent that you've got to beat. I'm sure that you'll be able to look back one day and call it your greatest win.

'Quake I wish I could say my heaviest bench was just over 400 lbs. and call it "not great". I remember practically bragging in high school when I benched my weight, which was something like 185 at the time.

Hey Quake, I just wanted to let you know that your presence in wrestling was one of the most lasting ones when I was younger and to this day. I can still remember the fear and awe I experienced when you would jump around a fallen opponent, preparing for the splash. This may not be a huge deal now and looking back at it, it was pretty silly. But for me at that time, it was great stuff, and still is. I wish you the best of luck with your treatment and my best to you and yours.

Quake, Just wanted to say your heel character was well played out and believeable to my friends and myself when we were watching you, it was truly great and memorable. Best of luck to you, as well as your family. Good luck with your treatments. Cheers!
