Its the interent my friend, you can get anything for free. It's not even worth free. In fact, the only good thing you can do with this movie is read the countless, hilarious and hate-filled reviews.

Sorry for the all-caps, but this needs to be said: HOW DID THIS MOVIE MAKE MORE THAN RAMBO? ??!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! Easy. Dumbsmurf middle schoolers who think this crap is entertaining. (Breaks Kayfabe) My dad is 50 and he likes this crap, don't get me started on my uncle, who hates any comedy that requires some thought.

Well I stopped watching, This was worse then 2 girls 1 cup. I think I'm gonna go make some lunch or something, but damn, I didn't think a film could be THAT bad. I've tried to find that vid, but everytime I download it, it is a scrambled mess with sound only.

Listen to that man^
Well I had to make up for me watching meet the spartans, so I went to go see No Country For Old Men at my local cinema. And that may be the greatest piece of cinema I have ever laid my eyes on.

It's weird how this movie did so well at the box office, yet I've never heard anyone say anything positive about it. Guess the people that do like it are ashamed.

Most intelligent people get movies from the internet. Stupid people however love the cinema.
I think I have dyslexia.

Dumbsmurf middle schoolers who think this crap is entertaining. Beer-addled rednecks would ALSO be apropos. This thing OPENED HUGE in my area.....while THERE WILL BE BLOOD and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN both played for about a week or two., and quietly slipped away. As I have said many a time.....IDIOCRACY is upon us. Uh... I hate to be the bearer of good news, but just so you guys know... Meet The Spartans DID NOT make more money then Rambo. Also, Meet The Spartans was the lowest grossing movie of the recent rash of "Spoof Movies", until Superhero Movie that is. Which is all but done at $25 million domestic, $21M Foreign. In other words, these movies are making less and less money. Meet The Spartans Box Office:Domestic: $38,233,676 + Foreign: $45,925,849 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- = Worldwide: $84,159,525 Rambo Box Office:Domestic: $42,754,105 + Foreign: $67,069,047 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- = Worldwide: $109,823,152 Source: Box Office Mojo

Now, before you attack me for watching this horrible piece of crap, I was extremely bored and had nothing to do. I'm about half way into it and I have laughed only one time. If anything, this movie has pissed me off, who the hell actually thinks this crap is funny? The movie wasnt THAT bad, it had Herculess himself in this movie, Kevin Sorbo.

Karma is a funny thing guys... I talk about this film early in this thread and later my girlfriend was watching it at her house, naturally I sat with her and watched it... and to tell you the truth I did chuckle just once (during the "pit of death" he later turns on the garbage disposal for it"). Otherwise else... It is lame.
Rambo on the other hand though was smurfing bad ass.

It's a painfully dumb movie.
I went in with no expectations and was disappointed. Even my younger brother (who likes some real crap) hated it.
The only thing that really pissed me off about it was that it seemed like they didn't care to even try to work the jokes into the movie. They just added them in because they were pop culture at the time because they could. What kind of excuse is that for something so poor?

Sorry for the all-caps, but this needs to be said: HOW DID THIS MOVIE MAKE MORE THAN RAMBO? ??!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! I'd say it's because the average girl didn't wanna see the violence that was Rambo. they wanted to laugh at something so guys broke down and took them to see this. I'll leave it at that before I go on a rant. EDIT: I see Rambo made more overall, but Spartans did beat Rambo for the number one spot that week in America

I'll leave it at that before I go on a rant. EDIT: I see Rambo made more overall, but Spartans did beat Rambo for the number one spot that week in America Not for the week, but it barely did (by about 200 thousand dollars) for the opening weekend. I already posted the opening weekend figures, and that could easily be explained. The reason Meet The Spartans narrowly beat out Rambo in the OPENING WEEKEND ONLY (once again only a 200,000 margin) is simply because Spartan was rated PG-13 and Rambo was rated R. As far as we know some people may have been buying Spartan tickets and sneaking in to see Rambo. This happens a lot when a PG-13 or lower movie is released at the same time as an R movie. That WEEK, Rambo made more as Rambo had better weekdays. Rambo's First Week:$22,798,146 Meet The Spartans First Week:$21,206,745 Now please everybody, let's stop trying to make it like Spartans was bigger then Rambo because I'll keep coming back with facts.
